New Marth Main here.../needs tips

I used to main Ganon...but I got sick of losing, so I'm gonna start maining Marth...
Anyways, I plan on being a more casual Marth(not that technical), mainly because I'm pretty bad at SHing with my right thumb...when I play Fox I SHFFL Nairs/SHDL w/ the control stick...
So yeah, SHDF isn't consistent for me and stuff so...

What are the Bread & Butter Marth Combos besides SHDF, and Uair->Utilt->Fsmash

Also I see there isn't a Marth guide?........even Ylink has one.

marth is just too complex, see videos of pros, then try to apply, if you don't know how to do something just ask

Marth's grab is amazing.

Also WD and WD out of shield should be flawless.

i main marth and love playing as gannon. kind of a weird combination. remember that you can use marth's smashes and tilts and wavedash much more often than you'd likely use them playing as gannon. but depending on how you played gannon, you'll probably see less of the b-moves as a marth.

Don't get me wrong I love playing Ganon, I'm keeping him as a secondary. Around Wisconsin, against a Marth main you ban Battlefield, personally I HATE Battlefield, with Marth I'm good on it. At the last tourney I went to I went Marth/Ganon. They banned battlefield, and I'd ban FoD. That leaves my favorite Ganon map open, Yoshi's. It works out perfect, and I won a bunch just like that.

thats the most technical stuff I can do with marth. I only WD when needed, and don't use it as a mindgame, I walk alot because I can smash out of it.

Post a video of you playing and we can better tell you how to improve. We have no idea where you're at with your Marth, so we can't help you a whole lot.

Watch vids. Then practice SHFFL all of your aerials. Oh and don't worry about double fair that much. It isn't even the best approach anyway, more of a followup move, really. Post a vid for us sometime. Oh and before you start remember this, use the C stick for your aerials. Using the C stick allows you to use the analog to keep marth spaced. A spaced marth = pure tippers.
