New Link Tactic!

OKay, before I actually post the new tactic/technique/thing...
This thread has really died...

What happened to all the good Link's out there???

DON'T TAKE THIS AS YOUR OWN!!!
I FINDED IT OUT YESTERDAYS!

AND IT WORKS! (CAPS LOCK!)

The "Gimp-Shot"!

OKay, we know Link has some trouble stadning up against those fast falling top and high tiers, but with this little technique it can stop em' easy!

Lets say your fighting one of the fast fallers (Falcon, Falco, Fox)

YOu knock him off and proceed to follow with a back-nair (Name from Masta Deltron!)
Airdodge up, and then fire the hookshot!

If done correctly the hookshot should strike them (Set knockback and damage so it is even better! [they can't wall tech it!]) and gimp em low enough to their death!

It can be even easier for spacies on levels w/ closer blast lines, like Yoshi's story!

The pictures are rather pretty.

You can actually do this with 2 nairs (if you nair as soon as you jump) and then either hookshot or tap them with the upB while you recover. I personally use the upB for it since you sweetspot faster and can drop down for more kicks before they can upB again. It's hilarious against Falco because he can't get out of range without being too far away to recover.

how bout captain-link?i have some friend of mine that if gets me offstage is a sure kill even at 0% -_-

meta, if youre at 0%, just up b over him into the middle of the level. at best link will do like, a 30% combo to you ending with a bair or something ****ty

exactly what he does is kinda nair bair up+b ledgedrop nair bair hookshots to anything,it happens so fast that i really dunno what to do -_-

ah well thats a 0-death guaranteed combo, nothing you can do about that

either way, Axe I don't remember seeing Germ do it in the video... Did he?

I just started doing it to Joe and Joey yesterday, Joe fell for it more often than Joey did though...

anywho, Germ is garbage I could take his Link anyday of the week! SCRAH!

they did. the Germ has used this combo in the metagame vid. its like 1 minute in i think.
