very interesting. glad you finally put one up. And there's no arguing because as he said in the other thread, its on tourney results and consistency.
Hopefully I can perform better to get on that list.

Oh yeah.

Doyoung, JFox, Bass, Treble, and some other people are definite contenders for this list. The bottom five better watch out or they could be overtaken.

And me too. LK and Spamerer are starting to scare me too much. :(

Step it up and make the list if you're not on it! It's a good thing to aim for.

yea just update the old thread...or better yet make NJ update user name (like Florida's FloridaMeister) that several people have access to and use that to update the thread as opposed to having it solely on lk. The only problem is NJmeister doesnt sound that catchy.

So why did you guys choose to keep Ryoko off the list? Inactivity? Is Cactuar not considered NJ anymore?

BTW, I doubt I'll ever overcome anyone on this list. NJ is way too good for me to ever be top 15. I'm not being modest, I'm being dead honest.

And just to kick things off with a bang and get things started:

I think WoZ should be higher.

Lemme clarify. I agree with where he is, but only because his tourney placings haven't been as high as they should be. But I still think WoZ is better than this list shows...

BTW, the most recent biweekly is the only singles tournament I've really entered in ~10 months. How is that substantially more active than Ryoko to justify him being left off completely and me on exactly? Other than the fact that Inui likes the number 4 of course.

@Magus: I wanted Ryoko on the list. The other two did not, and so I decided to just let it be. After being inactive, you made an impressive showing in both singles and teams. Can't ignore that.

lol atleast ur state has a list but yeah ny did rush theres its obvoisly going to be fixed though it doesnt seem to be any problems with this at all though i would argue im waiting for someone else

omg, first time ever agreeing with mood4food. Please take Zang off...

There's a lot of double standards going on:

1. If cactuar's home is in NJ, but he lives in PA, he is PA...so why is Zang NJ still?
2. Cactuar goes to PA tournies, so that makes him PA. Magus goes to NJ tournies, so he is NJ. But Zang goes to 1 tourney outside of NJ, but he's still NJ.
3. Ryoko and Comp are not on the list because of inactivity, but Zang and Magus are because of one tourney.

I always thought Lord Knight was better than Inui. Guess not.

EDIT: Jfox is right. We know the NY power rankings were rushed, but the NJ one looks on the sketchy side to.

cactuar is from red lion pa , from waht i know his gf i think lives in nj he goes to school in philly so hes pa without a doubt

why doesnt some one just ask zang

How would that help us at all? This isn't really something you should be able to choose, its the state you live in, and the rules should be universal.

zang's great, don't get me wrong, he almost beat PC in a falco ditto (i think PC won two matches up or something and both were by a life), but he barely goes to anything

jfox...you've agreed with me before...come on, don't hold it in

ehhh, the NY ones were bad, the NJ ones are no where near as bad (come on, bailey put himself up at 6th, and storms is way better than he is...i was never ***** so hard in my life before)

and sorry, but it's gotta come out, phish-it, is there a mahopac and a mayopac (i think that's how it's spelt), i always thought you guys were in mayopac...

eh? i dont think cactuar is going out with the girl in nj ( who lives five minutes from me). Isn't he dating someone from ny. But his home is in PA and he goes to school in PA although he goes to tournies everywhere. Based on living situation, he is pa but for tournament attendance etc, he can be anywhere... in the world

I can agree with taking Zang out. Right now, he's not really a NJ player, though his home is here. I'm sure if I went to NY for school and competed there, I'd be on a NY list instead of the NJ list.

i was surprised that inui was that high to begin with, is it just that large of a gap between zang and inui
