I didn't miss your point, you missed mine again. If it's not his typical fighting style, then it doesn't make sense for him to use it. That's what my point was. Would it make sense for someone like, say, Shulk to toss away the Monado and punch his enemies just because you know he can? No, it doesn't. Nor would it make sense for any other sword fighter in Smash to do the same. They all can if they want to, but that doesn't mean they would. Which is out of character, seeing as how he has never fought anyone with his fists with intent to kill / KO them.Just look at the taunt where he pulls out his sword and laughs, he's showing that his enemies arent worthy enough for him to even use his sword.
Like I said, I'm not even for this any more because of the salt, but justifying this as being within reason for a canon Ganondorf makes no sense. I won't deny he has a few moves that work for him, but a lot of them don't.
