I think a fourth poke will be the final smash but definitly not Mewtwo. Mew should be the fourth poke. Or what about Dragonite.

the earthquake thingy was probably his dair contacting the ground, his down smash or the beggening segment of fly.
i think mewtwo is more likely ^^ since its red it should be a legendary (it is his Final Smash after all) from Red/Green

and mew is not the greatest fighter i think, a remade mewtwo would work fine in that setting. And free his "normal" Rosterslot for another Pokemon (like Lucario (which is highly requests i think) or something similar)

Why not just show all 3 moves for each? Oh well nice update none the less.
I think the reason he didn't show all the moves are because the remaining moves may take some additional explanations/more than 1 screenshot. For example, Charizard's Seismic Toss Up B would require a screenshot showcasing the leap upwards, and another screenshot for the downward throw - Ivysaur's Razor Leaf could be charged to produce more leaves, Squirtle's Bubble could trap foes temporarily?

He left 6 out technically. squirtles down and neutral, ivysaurs down and side, and charizards down and up. So tehcnically he showed half of each pokemons moves. I know down is just switch but still, come on not bad seeing as he's given us just 2 moves before (with pit), and could have done so with each different pokemon.

Have to say, squirtles lookin prettyful. Ivysaur I hope has some move that will combo into bullet seed, and again I too wonder how up special tethers will work on ground.
Charizard is a little disappointing. Flamethrower is obvious (hopefully aimable), but rock smash... hmm. Not sure whether he gets the rock from the ground, it just appears, or its just an item or something and shown as a hitbox. Whatever the case, I hope they make it more interesting and useful than it sounds...
each pokemon have the same down special is pokemon change

Charizard's side B move, seems like you need to be really close to your opponent for it to have any effect.

I really like these moves.. they all seem unique and very fun to use. Pokemon trainer ftw! Although, I hate how Sakurai says there'll be 9 moves in all and shows 6. >.>

Se how squirtles moves were all shon at elden bridge? They all look like moves that would only effectively function at a flat stage with no platforms or elevations.

Squirtle = speed
Ivysaur = range
Charizard = strength

If you think bullet seed is useless, then you're not seeing the beauty of this character. By having all three, each pokemon can specialize. I imagine bullet seed will come out fast. This is better than Pikachu's thunder because it starts with Ivysaur instead of up in the clouds.

Rock smash is probably more like DK's Forward B. I wouldn't think they would give him 2 projectiles.

Right behind you with a knife.
Suirtle got a recovery move that no one expected... I guess because everyone though it would be like Bowser's. It seems like a big move though, so I wonder how it works. His forward B is also interesting. Sakurai, why didn't you give more info?!

Ivysaur's two moves seem very odd. He'll probably play in a very unique way, since both moves are unconventional. Bullet Seed should come out very fast, acording to the name at least, and I wonder if Vine Whip will be different on the ground.

Charizard seems to have two projectiles, but I bet Rock Smash will not have much range at all (Probably more like chipping damage, instead of one hit) The Flamethrower will probably act differently from Bowser's....I wonder if it will be like his old Pokeball move.

Wow this update is great, the water from Squirtles move looks amazing. I like Squirtle's moves and Ivysaurs, not so crazy about Charizard. [Probably cause I never liked him]

but rock smash is a very weak pokemon move in general, why dont they use a move like metal claw or slash. thats where he is most known about

and the fs will be differt for each pokemon
squirlte hydro pump, like in the cartoon he goes in his shell and shoots 4 beams
ivysaur uses solar beam offcourse
charizard uses eartqauke, cause everyone can remember charziard picking his opponent up and circeling around the moon

say, I just relized. how is kirby going to do the bullet seed? 0_o
Guess he will get Ivysaur's flower on his back?
Yeah, Kirby will either have it on his "back," sticking out behind him horizontally and he'll have to squat down or hunch over on all fours to fire, OR it will just kind of be on the top of his head, ready to fire straight upward.

I'm actually kind of excited to play as Ivysaur. My old sig (actually it's still IN my sig, it just doesn't show up, and I don't bother to fix it) had a small list of characters I wanted in Brawl, and Bulbasaur was one of them. Well, Ivysaur is pretty close to that wish being granted. (And it was one of the ones I LEAST expected!) Now, I'm just hoping for Chibi-Robo and WW Link! And I'm a 23 year old straight dude! Ha!

So anyway, I'm in agreement with everyone about the water effects looking pretty nice. Wii is GameCube's son, and it's finally growing up! (Graphically)

I also thought Squirtle and Charmander would make nice addtions. At least I got one of the generations of pokemon that I asked for! (Charizard is basically nothing like Charmander, and BTW I've never played a pokemon game other than Smash. Maybe I will on DS if someone tells me I should.)

A Suicide Dream

This is a little off topic, but dosn't anyone think that in the pokemon games, the pokemon shouldn't have such limited mobility? I mean, it should be like brawl but 3-D. The pokemon would be able to dodge and everything, but under your control and you would have to use different button combonations to use moves and MAYBE even combos. For example:Blaziken-uses fire punch then uses sky uppercut. EX. #2:Blaziken-uses Blaze kick then double kick. It would be a double blaze kick! This is my dream. I hope to work at Nintendo one day and submit this idea. It would be the coolest. Tell me what you think.

I remember someone (sorry, I forget who) on a previous PT thread asking how Red would stand in the backround for Bridge of Eldin. Today's update answered that question!

Seriously, Red looks so close to the stage that you'd think that he would be hit by the attacks

Haha, you tried to copyright your message. Hey that's all cool and good, but if you're not Japanese, Nintendo won't hire you. Maybe NOA, or some other country, but there aren't too many studios outside of Japan that develop first and second party games. Well, they're out there, but none for Pokemon. Didn't mean to crush any dreams. Maybe if you learn to speak excellent Japanese (if you don't already) then you can move to Japan and work like a mad beast horse to get hired at Nintendo. Heck, I would consider doing that myself just to work on any possible future Smash games. (Brawl might be our last.)

Also, no offense man, but I'm just wondering if you meant to type "SuicideBob-omber" for your name...

Peace in the Middle East

NOOK 4 BRAWL!
SHOTZO 4 BRAWL!

Charizard's Up B = SEISMIC TOSS - Come on! That would be awesome - it'd be like CF's/Ganondorf's Up + B - but the foe will be thrown straight down. It would only be a KO Spike at high percentages, but as soon as I saw Charizard, I thought back to the episode of Pokémon where Charizard faces Magmar above the Volcano. Please, Seismic Toss would be incredible!

EDIT: Video Showcasing the Awesomeness of Seismic Toss - and why it should be Charizard's Up B
Why not just use that for his standard throw then? Why waste a Special?

Suirtle got a recovery move that no one expected...
I TOTALLY expected it. although, honestly, I was expecting more of a reverse Thunder (almost like the Water Spout Spell from Ironsword)

but rock smash is a very weak pokemon move in general, why dont they use a move like metal claw or slash. thats where he is most known about
Smash has a really annoying habit of making what would be a horrendous pokemon moveset and somehow making it work in a realtime ring-out battle situation. I hate that.

I'm pleased with the moveset in general... cept for Ivysaur. But what do you expect from him?

Sorry... I hate Grass-Types... that's right... I'm Racist towards green people...

Still... gotta love those water/fire effects!

Why not just use that for his standard throw then? Why waste a Special?
Because
a) It'll be an awesome Spike from a Throw
b) Seismic Toss is popular and famous enough to be a special move
c) I can't see ANY other Up+B's being worthy enough - those who say "Fly", I just think that's a cop-out, where Pit's Up+B is exactly the same. AND, it'd be pretty disasppointing to reveal "Fly" as an Up+B after it is delayed from the rest of the moveset. I'm expecting pretty big moves to justify its isolation.
d) Sakurai has wanted to improve Aerial Combat. A throw in the Air? Improvement confirmed.

Do you think one charecter will end up being A LOT better and we will just use that specific one?
Well because of the stamina system, if you play as PT, you will be essentially forced to change and give each Pokémon its time in battle. You'd always have a favourite, but in order to compete, you'd need to get used to the other two.

You have no join date, no rank, no posts, no Online indicator.....what are you? And I meant Breloom not Shroomish. I always get those two confused. I could have said Lopunny too but that's less likely.

It's kinda funny how into it PT gets. Like he swipes his arm across his chest and he punches the air. So yeah..lol

It would be really annoying if squirtle was invincible while he did his forward special because hed be like a red shell(which i dont know about you guys but i found the most annoying item EVER!!!) so it would be cool if with a mid-powerful move you could knock him away temporarily like if you used mario's cape on yoshi while he did his forward special.
