Long time no see, BombSoldier. This is what we've been waiting for. Finally, haven't seen anything from BS in like one year or something. But there's so many good Falco players out there... will be cool to see if BombSoldier has improved his DI too.

I'm not disappointed, these are impressive matches, win or lose.

I have seen that UpB combo performed in one of DaShizWhiz's earlier videos though.

Why has he chosen to show videos now? Or was it someone else who did it without his consent?

EDIT: Haha, friendlies. Awesome. I don't think these vids should be taken too seriously. Nice showboating though :)

That is one beastly G&W. Interesting his Falco lost to Kaito's Falco yet his G&W won even with 2 SDs. The Up B combo with Falco seems pretty risky too, but he made it work each time he tried.

Yeah, that combo was in one of my vids like 9 months ago, lol. And these are good vids, but its not Bombsoldier, it can't be. I've watched like all of his videos and stuff, the green falco plays nothing like him. The G&W is pretty sick, and I like the Fox. But that falco, its good, but definitely not bombsoldier.

Hmm, I see more mindgames. :D, a ton more mindgames that is. It's very unlike Bombsoldier, but its possible that he decided to embraced the "smart Falco." Reminds me of your Falco, PC. :p

it could be him , you never know. Truthfully i dont think its him either but its been hella long since we've seen vids of BS. His style could have easily changed like many of ours do after a year . i agree tho def still impressive bomb soldier or not LOl but the game and watch was crazy wtfffff LOL

i liked the wavelanding stuff he seems pretty good with that even if its not him its a cool falco

and the combo the cf did was really cool :chuckle:

wow his gaw is ****ing amazing. watch the game and watch boards explode into controversy with "whos the best" like the falco forum LoL :chuckle:

But didn't we hear Bombsoldier could break shields with JC'ed shines and can do the phantasm infinite whenever and stuff like that? If they were vids of him wouldn't he be doing it?

The Falco is pretty good, and plays smart, but IMO Kaito looks more like Bombsoldier. And if these were vids of Bombsoldier how were they found, where'd they come from, etc?

This doesn't really look like BS. It just looks like a generic Falco... oh wait.

edit// You can't break shields with JC'd shines. You can't with Fox either and his kneebend is 1 frame shorter than Falcos. There's room to roll always.

edit 2// Shine to up b combo is as old as time.

those were rumors shiz. i mean they can be true but i think manacloud started a rumor about him 4 stocking ken and breaking sheilds and all that jazz so more americans would donate money for oc2 which was pretty smart and i would of donated anyway >_> LOL

Yeah, it could be possible its him. I honestly loved the G&W vid. That G&W was pretty ridiculous, I'd say thats one of the best.

omg that G&W was so cold i'm about to see if i can play with him. BUt it don't matter if that was BS or what all i know is they can both beat my falco n i need to practice alot more to even graze their level of skill

Hm, I don't know whether I want to believe that was the real Bombsoilder or not. Technically, the Fox and Falco were pretty good. But the Game and Watch, wow, I was more impressed by it than the other two characters.

mathos is a spammer this looks like an average combo happy falco >_> that is generic

lol if this thing didnt have BS' name in it it would struggle to get a single reply within like 3 days.

That Game and Watch was CRAZY!!! If this is indeed bombsoldier, than...I dont even know. His falco, eh, didnt seem like he was playing up to the potential, his fox could waveshine like a mutha, but his GaW took the cake!

yeah, mathos is a normal falco that has beaten DSF and took m2k to the last game where he suicided when he was about to win <_<, yeah, thats just a normal falco for you though.

Oh and btw DISK is Bombsoldier's brother (Marth player, name shows up at a lot of obscure tourneys). I've never heard of Kaito I don't think :/

I dont believe thats BS. It cant be. After seeing his vids and Soldier of Fortune hundreds(literally) of times there is no way that could be him based on how much technical skill was missing. He SD like a million times. Missed Wavedashes, no crazy combos etc. Its easy to say that Bombsoldier wasnt serious in these videos, but even if he wasnt being serious I still would expect way more than that after more than a year and a half of not seeing him play(he should have improved drastically since then)

That Falco doesn't play like the BS that we've all known and seen from 2 years ago. Then again, it could be simply a change in playing style, or just the way he plays against other Falcos, but that seems to be highly unlikely. This Falco isn't nearly as hyper-aggressive as BS was, nor does he seem as technically crazy with combos and such.

As said before, seems just like another good Falco.

Oh yeah, upB combos are garbage. They don't really kill, easily DI'd (because you probably won't die from one), doesn't lead to good edgeguard, and if they DI the shine, the resulting upB is much harder to hit. And I've been doing these when I mess up shine to bair. They suck.

Or actually it could be very old old vids of bombsoldier? Just b/c he uploaded this recently doesn't mean they're new vids

I mean, look,
-low quality capture (the japanese site currently has very good quality vids that are compressed into tiny 5mb files... crazy)
-5 stock games? since when have people been playing 5 stocks.

So these could be the old BS, and Kaito could be a retired player

The shine stalling at 0:52 and the dance at 0:26 remind me of BS. However, I can't help but wonder how old these vids are. If they're recent, then I am really disappointed in BS's combos.
