I wish the US could get more fluent news about the smash scene in Japan. I mean, there's been NO news on BS in over a year, we don't even know if he quit or not(I don't think we know anyway.)

yeah well even the japanese dont know **** about bombsoldier, they dont talk about him on their forums and when they do its about his jgt ****. all they talk about player wise is chu dat and pc chris and sometimes ken

BS has the second best falco on the planet and this cats doin all sorts a genereic stuf that all the generic falco players do. i wish i coulda been playin this kid so that i coulda just combod him 0-300% and break his shild all four stocl. and to this cat above me, your combo was going so well, you could almost gone to 300% but probably not, keep practicing though, that's chedda mage ****.

-low quality capture (the japanese site currently has very good quality vids that are compressed into tiny 5mb files... crazy)
-5 stock games? since when have people been playing 5 stocks.

So these could be the old BS, and Kaito could be a retired player

I agree totally...these sh**s are way too slow compared to the fast paced Japanese matches I see nowadays...plus for the most part I usually see BS Quickly DBL jump outta his shines to continue combos...and he's usually alot more agressive...I dunno I believe these matches are old as well.

i play infinite stock matches cuz no one can tuch me anyways and i like to just combo and break shilds all day long so iw ould be understandable if bs played with 5 stocks ssb style so he could combo more

I think it is him, He dosent have to be playing his best in every video. I think this is just a sandbagging BS. Sometimes it really seems like him. plus the game and watch. Plus bombsoldier is the smash rock star and he was doing ******** stuff. the taunts and SDs just seems like something a person who is too good would do since they always are doing crazy stuff. I don't know if that Falco is bombsoldier, but they're both really good. that G&W was crazy like all you guys say. i bet that vids going to spawn like 2000 new game and watch players rofl. the fox was really good on his last stock too lol. sick wavesihning and how he teched that platform after that knee.

I don't think these are old vids though . . . JGT was around 2005, and judging from these videos if this was an "old" vid it'd be before 2005, and I don't see falcos playing with that kind of style back then . . .

But I was taken aback by the 5 stock thing which I've only seen a few times before. I don't think I've seen that many 5 stock Japanese matches aside from websites some of some n00b players and some really old matches. :/ I'm going through a lot of Japanese sites right now trying to find other matches with 5 stocks so I can pin down a ball park date.

BS could just b trying to switch to a more smart falco and less agressive. we aint seen him n who knows when so it is possible that he changed his playing style. it was just friendlies so why does the stock matter, me and my friend sometimes do 5 for fun.

Could the fact that BS chooses not to chainthrow more than once (with g&w) be an indication that these vids are really old? I remember back when we were first getting introduced to the Japanese community around the TG6 times we learned that they didn't chainthrow and I think banned it or something. Then, they seemed to kind of adapt to our style of allowing chainthrows and now I see them using it. So, it seems unlikely that BS would still purposely not be chainthrowing.

Also, these are 5-stock friendlies, which is atypical of Japanese matches. Usually they have 3-stock friendlies.

These videos are either fake or some of the most hardcore sandbagging I've ever seen. Seriously, this "Bombsoldier" puts Isai to shame when it comes to not trying.

Then again, that's just the way Bombsoldier is, if manacloud is telling the truth, so I wouldn't rule it out.

I'm pretty sure it's Bombsoldier. People's styles change a lot in one year. Compare Germ's current Link to his past Link. He now plays slower and smarter, much less aggressive. But it's still Germ.

Well I just had an idea. I don't know much about the biweeklies you host but I'm assuming that they're cash tourneys once in a while. How about this, anyone who wins cash at the end of a doubles or singles tourney can choose to donate some or all of it to the "Bring Bombsoldier to OC3 Fund". Depending on the generosity of the smashers you could get to 2800 pretty fast I think.

I can't believe how many people are complaining *if it is him* how much his style changed.

I saw some smarter moves from his falco than he probably would have done 2 years ago.

Am I the only one not dissapointed? I mean seriously, he was like "OMG" 2 years ago but now just about every good falco can do what he did/does given the opportunity.

Just a suggestion At any major tourny every winner or at least first place should be asked if they want to donate any of the money to the fund.
