Okay, so they announced a new Smash 3DS XL, and now a NEW 3DS XL, about three weeks after I brought a 3DS XL.

Damn my ****ing impatience.

If I didn't misunderstand what they said about the CD, you get it for free if you buy Smash for both 3DS and Wii U. Might have misunderstood though, and it might be only for Japan. We'll have to wait and see!

New 3DS looks pretty tight, for the proper Z buttons if nothing else; I guess this is their answer to the missing buttons from the Gamecube controller (although I can't imagine doing smashes with that C-stick).

EDIT: Heck yes, a soundtrack Club Nintendo deal in the US for once? That pretty much just requires I buy both games? Sweet.

I'm not in love with another 3ds, but it feels like it means they'll be sticking with the 3ds for a while for their handheld system, which I do like. Also is this new C-stick just a new circle pad pro or something, or does it only work on the LL?

E3 confirmed there will be a device for NFC that will be released for the 3DS.

You will need an accessory for Amiibos to work on your 3DS. The new ones do not.

It seems that it works freely with the N3DS, by just placing it on the touch screen. However you need a accessory for the normal 3DS.
