I named my character in Final Fantasy Adventure "Ook".P.S. Yink, ook > Ripple. But Ripple learns from the great ook and plays Melee, a combination that makes anyone good. You need to play ook, he's soooooooooo gooooooooooood!!! XD
It does work actually, because if you space well you shouldn't get hit by shuttle loop (from what I've done at least) and on stages like SV it has a higher chance of spiking near the edges. They can tech of course....but it does the damage/has the potential to spike. When? You mean using it OoS when you shield a shuttle loop?
Actually that sounds like it could work. I should try that.
Pfff name searching >.<Lol I'm sorry about this but you guys said Chuee and I'm pretty sure he name searches soo he found his way here,
Except that i've heard from two very good DK mains that have played the MU say that it's at LEAST 70-30 for Ness. There's a difference between knowing a MU and making an intelligent ratio and not knowing a MU and questioning the people who made an intelligent MU's ratio without any hard facts to back you up.
Banning FD? Ok, DK has better stages. Camping on a platform is asking to be Baired. Oh, and it doesn't matter where you are when he grabs you. He can move around using cargo release. That is true, but you should also know this, there are legit stratagies to preventing infinates, such as, banning FD, camp on platforms, and camp close to the edge so you fall off on the grab-release.
Also if DK is going for the infinate he is facing forward, where Ness can GENERALLY beat his approaches, otherwise he is bairing , and not in a position to grab.
(This is @Chuee, not you Best) Who are these people? You don't even back that up. There's lots of players that think they can do something amazing and it happens sometimes. Stop making it seem like it's impossible to go even with a DK, it happens sometimes.
Its not impossible to go even with him, but when the player KNOWS the MU and USES the infinite its really hard for Ness to win.

I personally think that MU is too low myself, but lol it's not INSANE. Learn to space. I played Ripple (and if you don't think he's good...there's a problem with ya) and I've only played him once, but from what I remember I did lose, but not by a massive amount. They were close matches.
Ripple himself told me it was 70-30
Also, infinite =/= game-winner, because if so ICs would be 100-0 on everyone.... sure DK has an infinite on ness, but thats only ONE thing in the entirety of the matchup. There are several things ness can do in order to prevent being grabbed and to counter every other thing that DK throws out....
IC are different from the rest because their grab range is terrible, and they lose the infinite once you seperate them, unlike DK.
DK has more than just an infinite in this MU.
He has range, Killing power, and survivability. Pretty much this MU is a lot like the Snake MU, except he has an infinite.
OH SNAP HE SAID.You don't know Ness or what he's capable of. You cannot tell me what Ness can or can not do. XD
