Typical.

Let's play the noob game. MK is light and dies early from Ness moves. 6-4 for Ness

Maybe a lot of MK players don't have experience against Ness and thus can't help you out with the matchup. There's no reason to be immature about it.

IMO, MK's advantage, big time. theo nly thing that ness has on him is b-throw kills much earlier and...um...thats about it lol. MK gimps the hell outta ness, outranges/outspeeds him on the ground and in the air. ness has...better throws? lol...PK fire if you can get it to hit > bat = **** for MK...but thats about it. 65:35 MK?

PKF to bat doesn't work on MK unfortunately...

I agree with backthrow thing, but don't forget that Ness aerials clang with MK's.

Ness' F air out ranges MK, D air does bad things to characters with low aerial mobility.

Mk is light too...

Yeah a lot of Meta knights don't have experience with this match up....

I haven't faced ness in tournament for quite a while, but I seem to remember having a really hard time. fair outranges like everything, and bthrow is too good. idk though, i might just not know the matchup well enough.

I feel like posting in this topic even though I should just post on the board about this topic...also to be fair...I'd rather fight MK then some other characters as Ness...but that is just me...

I've faced one only once in tournament, and I had a hard time too... Never faced one before ><.

I think a lot of people have inexperience against Ness simply because you don't see him that much in tournament play.
Agreed. hell, when I fought my first good ness online I got *****. After playing him few times I was ****** him. A good ness is broken when playing one for the first time.

I think its maybe better than this.
I cant imagine two player, who have the same skill having a 60:40 matchup MK vs. Ness.
Ness will loose much more.
FTilt helps a lot, it outranges Ness.
And in the air MK has got more possibilitys than Ness.
Oh, and theres Gimping. ;) Avoiding Ness´s Dair isnt hard with the recovery monster.

MK 65/35 or 70/30 Ness.
