I was contemplating between whether that was a Knee or something else. I decided on Knee because of Captain Falcon who immediately crossed my mind too...

XD) It's going to take ages to finish this though, the bottom part of the picture is...well...pretty complex. >< It's funny though, a lot of people who draw well don't color their stuff, but in strange cases like me, I color stuff but don't draw. Hmm...

I didn't actually draw this, I'm just Photoshopping it. (Which btw, I think is more time time consuming then actually drawing the thing. Even if you didn't draw it yourself, I still consider it art, though. A lot of artists in history merely took already existing things, manipulated them, and called it their own. Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp, and some lady whose name I can't remember at the moment...

She's like a new gen version of Ana and Paula. I know she looks different, which is cool, but I'm not a fan of her spunky-ness.

I don't like Kumatora either. Am I the only one of the few here who actually like Paula better than Kuma? I know many men like Kumatora because they think she is sexy and she is awesome because she is a tomboy, but her tomboyishness doesn't really go well with me. She doesn't have the charm that a young innocent girl like Paula does, cuddling her teddy bear and having a very devout faith in whatever god she prays to. Paula isn't all fluffly wuffly and super girly like Peach either, she is quite serious when she needs to be too, but not so overly spunky.

Maybe I am just too old school.

I think if there is SSB4, I'd pick Paula over Kumatora because she has more chances of having a varied moveset with the teddy bear and frying pan along with her praying as well.

Nice picture of Kumatora though. I think Kumatora I heard is about 19 in MOTHER 3, but that is when they are older during later parts of the game.

Yeah I can imagine it now if she was in Smash and a top tier.

"No! Ness sucks! Paula can do everything he does and a better version of it!"

Come on, why would you not want an EB character to be top tier? At least that'd be good representation for us don't you think? Some people would argue that they'd hate it if their main or favorite character became top tier because then all the people who love playing top tiers flocked to them. I don't play Ness as much as I used to because I started to main Snake and have done so with devestating success, but Ness is still a favorite of mine. My cousin said that I "sold my soul to Snake".

I made a Paula moveset before, as so did two other people. PKSkylar being one of them (does he visit these Ness forums?). I don't think she'd be totally broken. Powerful bspecials maybe, but I made her a character who is heavier than Ness is, but not so good aerials and the weakest of the MOTHER kids throws. Also loves to pray, use the teddy bear and frying pan. So she'd be fair -> uair juggled by Ness for sure.

Kumatora in that picture looks cute, especially the way you made her mouth so small and how she cuddles the Mr. Saturn.

I liked thinking of how Paula was where all the power PSI was in your party. She had PK Fire, she had PK Freeze, and she had the Psi Shield for beating Starmen and whatnot.

Ness was the tank/fuel... a tough guy who looked out for the rest of them... Paula actually did the business.
And yet, yeah, she was still a girl. I didn't think about the teddy (I'm really bad at getting a sense of age), but I did get a big impression from the Polestar school and what the people there said about her.

I speculated that Paula would appear in Brawl, as a replacement to Ness with Ness' moveset, so that Ness could be remade with. . . like, his actual moves from EB. (I also did the same with Poo). I also once speculated on a Paula that would have her own moves... but got held up if I didn't allow her to have a yo-yo (which, although canon fully supports, I just couldn't visualize it).

I thought PK Freeze would be a cool move where she deals massive damage in an area right in front of her... like an fair, except on a special (neutral B). The mechanics of being a special (B reversals) would make it valuable. And free up a different fair.

But come on... true to the games, she'd be one heck of a lightweight. She's dealt mortal damage every turn in my save. *shakes head*

It kind of depresses me that the ultimate battle didn't take place in Ness' and the others' true forms.

It takes something away. And I now can explain one part of it: You can't draw them fighting Giygas and agree with canon.
