On the Marth V.S. Rob Match-up:you telegraph yourself when you repeatedly do full hops
anyone with a PS and a 4 frame OOS is stopping your fun, not to mention they can roll/run under you
the main problem with rob's projectile is the speed of the gyro and ability to cancel it + it remains on the stage unable to be grabbed for a short period of time
His ftilt is much better vs marth than ****ing dk's man WTF get that **** out of here
i'm not willing to explain why i think rob wins because it should be obvious, and im lazy
no i think rob beats marth because rob anti air's marths aerial approach, forces him to approach in the first place, and clashes/trades/beats his ground pokes
B-throw, useful?
On the Marth V.S. DK Match-up:bthrow is easier to bait a double jump with because it leaves them closer to the the stage and usually not all the way off/on the ledge so they cant just free fall to the ledge or dj to it, the "hurry and get back on the stage" sense should tell them to immediately double jump due to bthrows low hit stun, most likely w/o thinking of b-throw never gets used on them
i'd say it's good for a one time thing if u need to attempt a gimp, thats when i use it

What moves of DK's can he actually APPLY and PRESSURE with?
B-air, thats it, and B-air leaves him open as **** vs marths speed and priority
Ftilt is impractical due to lag, his smashes are all laughable and if any of them are hitting you (aside from like a tech chase or some ****) you should probably consider suicide with godspeed
He is WORST at getting back to the ground vs marth than ****ing snake, which is sad
his recovery is ezpz spike mode, and this is from on the stage lol
i don't feel like typing a ****load but really people need to start considering move properties before they call match ups man "LOL DDD'S B-AIR *****, LET'S NEGLECT THE FACT THAT HIS UNDERSIDE IS OPEN, HE HAS NO AERIAL MOBILITY TO APPLY IT AS PRESSURE, HE'S HUGE AS FUHCK, AND MY CHARACTER CAN LITERALLY WALK, JAB, OR FTILT IT. NOT TO MENTION OUTSPEED IT WITH AERIALS OLOLOLXCHJVBKC"
On-stage Dair:Dk definitely doesn't win in the punishment game unless marth is using punishable attacks, DK U-smashing a marth is the most impractical **** I've seen used as support for a long time.
If Marth leans forward to F-air, he'll get b-air'd, if dk b-air's, he can get counte aerials or anti-air'd
The difference between marth and dk lies in speed, priority, speedy punishers, safe pokes, and the ability to safely recover on and off stage
Marth wins in every category
Your anti air/anti approach, F-tilt, has winddown and can be punished, Dk isn't punishing marth's Down tilt or jab, sorry
I tend to be less partial to F-air in this match unless I'm positive that dk is grounded, or he is facing forward, I never F-air (first) if DK has his back turned, only as a counter attack do I f-air
If we launch you upwards, you're ****ed.. literally (unless the marth sucks). The ONLY way to avoid taking damage upon returning to the ground is to go to the ledge, otherwise you have no options to cover your fall, B-air is too slow and gets easily ps'd to side-b, air dodge also gets regrabbed (yay air trap again ololol) or side-b'd, and don't even mention f-air, n-air, or side-b from DK >>
Your body/recovery is spike/get ***** food off the stage, and you're only okay vs us off of the stage
What people don't seem to realize is how heavily he relies on "brawl novelty." And by brawl novelty I mean "LOL I'M NOT ACTUALLY ATTACKING BUT U ARE, RUN INTO THIS PLZZZZ OLOLLLLLL."
Any player with a brain can pick apart DK's predictable, repetitive character design. It's as simple as not blindly charging in, because he can only apply about 4-5 of his moves directly on to an opponent, the rest are either punishers for extremely stupid mistakes or "HEY RUN INTO THIS ATTACK LIKE AN IDIOT."
Marth beats dk solidly at 55-45
On Kizzu Gimmicks:the point is you risk missing it [Dair OoS] if it's sh'd, not to mention there is no follow up as you are lagging like ****, then you get punished durrrr
On Diddy:nobody good uses any of kizzu's gimmicks, and if they do, they pay for it because none of it works
protip: staying close to diddy's so they can't setup banana tactics but out of their range and then doing the ZMT (never actually approaching, ever, just waiting for a. your opponent to run into one of your flailing hitboxes or b. one of your flailing hitboxes to outprioritize theirs) right in their face is raaaaaape. i just counter attack any attempt they make at attacking/approaching. be careful though because diddy's range on some of his stupid *** moves is retardedly close to yours >_> so annoying
the game doesn't revolve around beating MK, it only revolves around beating MK if you are incapable of doing so.
clowsui why would you encourage xisin's novelty style? that **** does NOT WORK with marth >_>
how i wish some of you would try that **** on the east coast.. LMAOOOOOOOOOOO (is never surprised when marth's tell me they can't beat olimars, tl's, or some other stupid **** that won't ever approach them)

Marth clearly wins 60/40 LOL
D-tilt + counter > IC's approaches
their sliding powershield doesn't even help their abysmal grab range against down tilt, and you can counter the blizzard or air dodge in and up-b, good gamed
