What I do is press forward B once then I let go of the B button and allow the control stick to return to neutral and then proceed to do forward/up/down B again. That's probably the problem, you aren't allowing the control stick to return to neutral.

Yo, yo, yo, WHAT??

Return to neutral position??

You talking about recovering or dolphin slash multi-hits?

I'm guessing he meant dancing blade. He didn't say what he was using the move for, but it sounded pretty clear to me that he meant in an offensive method.

Oh and neutral position meant returning the joy stick to its original position as if you aren't touching it all. =P

You don't have to return it to the neutral position, you just have to get the timing down.

Now practise in mid air to b> b> b-down meteor. very overlooked tactic. it's hard because b> stops momentum and lifts you up a bit.

Man these kinds of things are tough to explain over the internet. Not to mention I do the move on an subconscious level. OH, try this! Maybe you can rely on the actual sounds Marth makes. After the first sound try pressing forward B immediately after that! If that does work I'll have to put my game on and quickly do the move and reply back with how I am doing it. lol

SideB>SideB>A>A

After the initial Side+B you can use A instead. Until you get used to it, you could do that so you don't dolphin slash on accident (shrug)

ol is this what your talking about ^^^ somewhere around 5mins.

Also, theres a part towards the end where he lets you hear the controller as he does some Side B stuff so you can get the timing. Probably the best way to explain it. Its around 6mins 30secs or so. Most of the rest of the vid isn't that useful. I thought this thing was really informative to competitive Marth at first. oh lolz. At least the songs pretty good. :)

EDIT: SH*T I forgot to include the vid. Its in now.

Its just timing, but what helped me is using the A button instead of the B button after the initial hit. You just have to have a slow pause between the first and second one then another slow pause for that and so on, the timing is pretty straitforward.
