ROFLMAO. When I tell people my Jiggz is a Snake counter, I'm actually just joking. Just space your tilts better. She can't attack through them like...at all.
f-tilts approached from diagnonally above snake are trivial for jiggs. She can almost always get in a bair, and often has an option of a dair or pound based on the timing.
If you're having so much trouble approaching, force her to approach you,
How? Snake is not Falco or ROB... Jiggs cares less about grenade spam than any character in the game.
dish out some of your own shield grabs,
When on earth is Snake or anyone else going to get the chance to shield grab a Jigglypuff? Why would a Jigglypuff ever do an aerial against a shielded opponent while landing, on either side?
Jigglypuff fears attacks out of shields, nor grabs, and for Snake that only applies to the u-tilt.
shield drop a few grenades on her arial approaches
This is just about the least effective thing you could do. It might work in the air though, if the jiggs is careless.
and once she's at 50-60 you can kill her with a strong breeze.
Unless Jiggs walks into an u-tilt, no... and certainly not as low as 50-60%.
It sounds to me like you're playing sloppy and aggressive where you might just do much better to sit back and camp. If Jiggz hits you into the air, you might try to push her off with a Nair before she can Wall of Pain you out over nothing.
"Camping" a character with massive aerial speed and five jumps with a slow and harmless grenade projectile is not a valid strategy. Jiggs is free to pressure the top of Snake's shield with bairs without risk, and get in a pound (the end goal of Jigg's approach against Snake) even sooner.
Once Snake is in the air, he has three options. First, he can air dodge, which is predictable and punishable, often by Rest. Second, he can nair or dair. If the Jiggs has poor spacing or makes a mistake, you might get a hit and escape back to the ground. Third, he can try a bair. If the Jiggs doesn't expect it for some reason and it connects, it basically ends your short-term Jiggs problem.
Snake has virtually all of his advantages nullified and all of his weaknesses accessible against Jiggs. His approach and projectile(s) are worthless, his weight insignificant due to ease of being gimped. Bair and fair simply wreck him in the air, and pound makes all of that possible. Even his mobility on the stage is poor, since Snake does not want to get caught in a grab near the edge.
Sorry, Jigglypuff counters Snake. Quote it.
