You have decent tech skill so there's no reason you should be rolling that much ¬.¬ wavedash out of shield more

Learn to recognize when Falco does an unsafe move on your shield and shieldgrab or shine OoS or UpSmash OoS

Wavedash OoS is pretty sweet vs lasers ... or in generally really ... even though I suck at dealing with lasers -_-

I think doing scared defensive options when you don't need to is your biggest problem that will get you ***** by decent players regardless of character (unless you only roll this much vs Falco) ... Fox is a good character so he doesn't have to rely on crappy rolls to get out of bad situations :lick:

Stop rolling. Only roll if you are under a lot of pressure, and that isn't me saying it okay...you were rolling when he wasn't doing anything and the rolls went into his shines and others moves. Fox works well with platforms, and it seemed you kind of understood this, but too often you would just stand there and do a move like utilt and expect him to run into it. Falco approaches with lasers first, aerials second, so there is little reason to think he will run into a stationary utilt. Also, you missed a lot of short hop nairs that could've landed if exectuted.

Rolling isn't a bad option haha
You just have to know when to use it

Neutral position rolling is almost never the way to go

dun be afraid to have presence on the ground. you stayed in the air alot which is understandable since its falco but like theres sometimes where you couldve ran up and scared him into something silly. (or maybe even run up and power shield if you can).

full hops are you best friend vs falco. keep him honest with double jump fakes and shield grabs. he shuffled at you kind recklessly a bit and I def saw a few times where a shield grab was the best choice(or maybe upsmash out of shield.).

when that lazer before an aerial comes be ready to do something in response. when he lazers and goes to shuffle at you, you shouldnt be sitting your shield unless you are a phenominal OOS shiner.(joereplicate, colbol, lovage and eggm). i personally rather be WD out of shield or full hoping. with either of the two you can then react to what they do next. of course there are answers falco can use too, but he cannot just shuffle after one of them lazer for free anymore.

yeah chill with the rolling. you gotta kinda just wait it out. they cant sit there forever. think about how you feel when you have their back to the edge and then get go from their. They're under pressure too believe it or not.

you play fox. why are you losing to falco? lol. matchup is soooooooooooo easy for fox.
I don't think I've ever been lockdown'ed' harder in my life than against Mango's Falco.

Against Falcos that know what they are doing, its arguably one of Fox's hardest match-ups. The combos on Falco are pretty easy, I must admit - but everything in between isn't.
