i have noticed that overall the melee community is not as smart as the brawl community
this is because in brawl you have nothing else to do but read your opponent after you hit them...
because you are successful at brawl i would conclude that your reading of the game and decision making are going to be above average...
i think that if you develop the tech skill required to play melee at a high level then you could be a force in melee...

how to practice tech skill?
idk really, but currently im just trying to wave-shine a peach across final d until i get it right...

actually i would suggest brawl to anyone who has tech skill in melee and is looking to improve...dark hart?

Well, to be fair, I never really said how similar I thought they were. I just said they were different. But obviously if Stingers does much better in Brawl (the slow one) than in Melee, but has good tech skill... yeah blah blah blah.

If I can get a legitimate reason why I should actually be in the Melee Back Room, then I'll tell Mow I changed my mind(because I would have).

I feel like I would have to spend loads of time on my posts to make sure they're airtight before posting in front of the smashers that decide rulesets that people have to abide by, AKA the elite.

Almost everything here is over some trivial ruling or TO-related function.

In The MBR there would be discussion on stage lists, rule sets in general, tactic bans(shino stall is up for ban I hear), and, finally, the tier list. I have never argued over a Melee matchup or stage legality or any of that with you guys.
