This simply turns me off. disney is becoming more of a (Tootie fruity) than ever. Its just wrong. We all know that their channel sucks right. For you 17 year olds still watching it, you need a lot of growing up to do. They are simply fail. they are not funny, they dont deliver the package, and disney channel was first made for imagination, but all they care about is the money. Now. i remember when disney use to be nice. The classic disney stories were childish, but they were classic. Full of imagination. And the old mickey, the bad *** one was hot. Have you seen what they have done to him now. Its just sick how disney simply care for money, they would change the originals. Fail.
Ok. they babied their show. Im chill with that, they made a bad choice, but hey its their choice. They come abck with Disney XD targeted for Teenagers. Us.
Do we want to watch their show... NO! we could care the less.
the thng that pisses me off the most is that naurto has to put up with all that disney crap. i mean, ashely tisdale cant make mickey ears followed up by naruto... Thats wrong. Cartoon network made a good choice by DELETING those **** shows they use to put on and changed their ways to put ONLY anime. Yah the stuff we want. later, they babied their show. As in they took off the anime, the blood, and replaced it with ****ty shows. Its ok, its their choice, but it makes sense now. Cartoon network = baby shows.
Disney XD is full of baby **** and only want naruto on their show because they now that we teens are just targeted. Thats just (Well really smart *** of them) wrong.
either they have to CHANGE EVERYTHING about disney "XD" and put real shows on it. Or just make Naruto fail. The name "DISNEY" and anime dont mix, i want them to fail BADLY for putting no talented loseres in their old shows.
Plz, give me a favor and let them fail. you like the naruto series (im not a big fan)? Go look up naruto (Dot) com. Guves you all the shows u need. NEVER go search up disney XD. let them fail. Plz. they really need to just fail and learn that all teens in this generation arent idiots.

Well, as in all cases that I've seen where people say that they hate this because it isn't like how it used to be, the explanation is that you grew up. You don't like it now, but is there a chance you would watch the new stuff they have if you hadn't been exposed to classic Disney, CN, etc.? I can't say for sure, but I'm leaning on the yes side.

Anyway, yes, I think it's dumb. Anime doesn't go well with Disney.

I understand completely, but I wasn't really surprised when I heard about Naruto being on Disney; I'm not surprised regarding anything that shows up there ever since I found out they started showing reruns of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on Disney XD.

Dear lord, I hate Disney XD. Now, I cannot watch any good old shows like Recess or the Weekenders. Call me bitter or stuck in the past, but I do not like Disney XD. Even though it does seem to be doing a good job at targeting the current generation (which has very bad taste).

I really think that Disney XD (Née Toon Disney) went off the rails 8 years ago, when Fox Kids offloaded all of their shows to BVS.

Though he was a little forthright in suggesting that individuals still watching the channel need to "grow up", I do agree with the point he's making about it. If the shows obviously aren't aimed toward you (....Disney channel is extremely simplistic...), then you shouldn't watch. If you choose to anyway, you absolutely have the right, just like a 35 year-old has the right to wash his hands in his toilet...

But there are better choices...FAR better choices...

This post made me instantly think of this horrible mess that is the Finnish dub of Digimon.

And I disagree that they're nothing.. They're a way to get some laughs.

There are some shows that still have clever jokes or more adult ideas than their target audience can catch...

Fairly Odd Parents and Spongebob are full of them. I can watch that show and still feel a little secure.

When I'm watching a show, mostly on disney channel, that gets most of their laughs from...very juvenile "elementary school cafeteria" physical humor...I watch it and feel embarrassed for the show and its viewers.

What I meant was that I wasn't included in that "17 years old people still watching Disney" because I'm not, I'm not even watching it anymore, ever since I was small.

I don't even HAVE disney channel. Instead we have family channel which plays most of the same shows. I still watch it from time to time because recess and a couple other shows get replayed.

What is this madness?

Although I've never liked the Disney channel, putting Naruto on it is just stupid. Naruto has blood and sometimes strange monsters (look at Orochimaru, Gaara, or Deidara), that certainly does not suit Disney. I'm not saying Naruto is overly-violent, but to put it on the Disney channel isn't very intelligent, considering there are little children watching Disney.

In all seriousness, the decline of the Saturday morning cartoon really happened because all big four (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC) saw the market for cartoons start to jump over to Expanded Cable (viz Cartoon Network, Toon Disney, &c.) So, around 2002-2004, they all either

1. Jumped out of the market (like FOX did this year), or
2. Got one of their family channels (like ABC did with ABC kids) to make one, or
3. Got another company to make the shows (like CBS did with Kewlopolis).

Being one of the kids who grew up on this stuff while it was still good, it is really a sad site.

Okay I don't care about Naruto, I don't even have cable. The thing that got me is

"For you 17 year olds still watching it, you need a lot of growing up to do."
So wait a minute when I become over such and such an age I should stop watching/doing something that I enjoy? Can you not be a "mature" person who sometimes enjoys "childish" things?

I'm 20 years old and I still watch Arthur, I like the animation and the show is cute.
Why do people believe that you can only have one way of enjoying something? Did that make sense? I feel like I'm going to regret posting this.
