I saw this while I was lurking 4Chan myself. Didn't know what to make of it, actually.

Zecora is pretty cool. I pull slick Zecora rhymes in my school every now and then, and only a handful of students notice.

mine was a lot worse

I'm always happy when someone trys to draw

not sure if the smudges are on purpose

here some tips:

what pencil do you use to draw?
I would suggest HB for sketching and 2B for shading thats more than enough for the beginning
furthermore get a eraser pencil with a soft and a hard site
it makes the ereasing so much more comfortable
it's the best thing you can get at the beginning
I'm loving mine <3

your lines are a bit hard just try to draw a bit softer with less pressure
these lines are hard to erease completly if you put them on the wrong spot

for the shading always shade with the side of your pencil and blend the lines with your fingertip and don't forget to hold the pencil with less pressure if you want a darker area just shade again over it like putting a second layer of colour on a wall :D
for very small areas it's ok to use the tip but it blend very bad so try to avoid it
you can mix up your shading with some line shading over here and there just mess a bit around with it and find your style

Well it's for the best. Having scrambled eggs for hair was a bit odd for a leaf-themed pony, after all. If anything she should've had, like, broccoli or something for hair.

some were mistakes at first that I tried to smooth out to look shadowy and stuff. inkiepie:

here some tips:
what pencil do you use to draw?

just a lousy #2 pencil laying around my house

I made the outline of the body and hair darker at the end to help it stand out more from the mistakes I had earlier and be more bold, but I do agree the the inertial lines could have been lighter heh..

I'd say compared to animating the show, it tends to get quite difficult keeping the head to body proportionate, let alone making each limb the correct length.
Maybe I should give a go at drawing a non pony like Spike, Winona, Owlowlicious, Philomena, or Opalescence

Now that I have the two Twilight figurines, I prefer buying some sort of art/craft that at least stays close to the artwork of the show itself. Another Target escapade came up with clearance sales

Taking from it's clearance status, not many bronies would enjoy these kinds of things compared just to collecting the figurines and/or activity books (which were either sold out and never restocked)

IIRC i ended it with scrafty and serperior i think, considering its main game, i sure to have a defensive lineup. serperior with protect, leech seed, giga drain, toxic...lol

a very good rainbow dash
just two little things

first the hair ^^
the mane looks a bit more like twilights
rainbow's hair is more spiky

second the smudges irritates me a bit

the wings are so awesome loving them

just try to draw spike
he was so much fun to draw especially with a mustache

He wanted a Rainbow Dash to have Twilight's "Bacon-Hair" pose, but instead I gave Dash "Bacon-Hair" so I purposely flattened Dash's mane.

I really crapped up when I messed up during my pen-inking process so my ink-eraser left a nasty smudge. Since it is only a WIP, you'll see a colored version and a pencil shading version soon.
