Well I know for me it's annoying because I've always thought that Luna would either refer to Celestia as "Sis" or "Big Sis" as opposed to giving her a nickname, which is pretty much what she did in that one moment she actually talked in the show. Hopefully her upcoming episode will come up with something to fix this fanon nonsense.
