The only two ponyfics I've read so far are Cupcakes (because everypony has to), and Quest of the Friendship Stones (because it's hilarious). And the only reason why I read them was because they were recommended in this thread.

I'd recommend Memories of Days Long Past.
It's probably currently my favorite long-term fanfic I've read for MLP.

I've read far too many oneshot fics, and I can't be damned to name them. In fact, I just finished a decent Fluttershy one whose name I can't even be damned to remember.

...personally, I found Quest of the Friendship Stones to be pretty bad.

10 Years Flat was pretty damn good. I was surprised. The ending was a bit "eh" though.

Pictures are better than fanfics anyway.

Memories of Days Long Past, Stuck, Cupcakes, Random shippings (NO CROSSOVERS) is all of i've read.
I usually don't like fanfics that involve stuff like "lol If Pinkie died" "This is why ajay's parents are nowhere to be found" "Fluttershy has a secret drug addiction" etc.
