anyone else notice how the mane 6 (except twilight) and the CMC all have names with a stressed-unstressed-stressed syllable pattern? i wonder if that is intentional because young children prefer that pronunciation or something

I'm not going to provide justification for this since I refuse to spend much time contemplating the order of my favorite S1 episodes. On a semi-related note, I think McCarthy is the best writer on the show by a decent margin, although Rogers, Larson, and Fullerton are all pretty consistently good, too.

The Show Stoppers and Feeling Pinkie Keen are by far my favorite episodes though.
Punk Scootaloo and her pegasus scooter action can't be beat!
Meanwhile Pinkie's kooky sense of logic perfectly nailed Twilight's ego, subduing Twi to a laughable goose chase and many shenanigans. inkiepie:

Hating characters because the fans is a completely viable thing to do. It's the same reason I hate most of this show.
