So while I was on MLP Forums earlier this morning, I came up with an interesting question.

"Where would you be if MLP FiM never existed?"

As for me, I think I'd be dead.

I honestly don't know where I would be if Friendship is Magic never existed. With it, I made a lot of friends, and even found my first love through MLP until we recently broke up. I'd probably be in the same place, just without being into MLP. I'd also be more depressed seeing as MLP got me out of my home sickness depression back in 2012 when I first watched it.

Anytime I'm feeling angry or depressed, watching an episode of MLP helps snap me out of it. I don't recall any show prior that has done that for me. Just has that kind of charm to it.

A friend of mine does that. I should probably do that, since I get joy out of watching MLP. A Pinkie Pie episode usually cheers me up since she's my favorite character in the show.

A Rainbow Dash episode for me. Pinkie Pie is one of my least favorite characters, I just find her really annoying.

Though I have warmed up to it around Season 4, but it can still be a bit much at times imo.

Best Episode EVER!!!!!! I even had my girlfriend watching it with me. Great storyline, great musical scores, and best possible ending for an episode I've ever seen. I especially loved how Rarity at least tried to do Rainbow Dash's job. Rest assured I think Twilight never looked so good.

Final Score: 10/10

In terms of pony related stuff, family bought me a small plastic mlp watch. It'll sit there with my Pinkie shrine, Pony watch sadly and this generation doesn't really wear watches to check time much anymore unless they spent over 1k on nice expensive watches.

Other shizz I got is some 180 dollar resin skull/dragon for decoration? Than money clothes, alright christmas if I do say so myself. Think they tried to buy me a nice $80 scarf but I just told them no and thank god to myself.

Friend of mine got a Daring Do figure for Christmas. I didn't get any pony stuff myself (just a $50 Steam card and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon), but I am tempted to barter with him for it.

Did Secret Santa with friends and cousins. Didn't ask for anything pony since I already a big enough collection that I wouldn't want them wondering if I had it already, let alone that I don't really have any missing a piece my [Twilight Sparkle] collection [shrine].

I'm into random ecterea such as an inflatable Boba Fett jetpack, a dozen barrel containers, a bag of gummy bears, a monkey plush, and running hoodies. Also had bought myself the EG triple pack DVD and two MLP shirts from TeePublic just last month so also no reason to put those in my wishlist.

Also had impulse bought two Hot Topic exclusive mystery ponies-- got Cheese Sandwich and Shining Armor instead of Cadance and Sweetie Belle. Pretty crushed.

Oh and the secret santa recipient I had on the friend side asked for an Octavia or Daring Do plush and linked an ebay posting in his wishlist. Soon as I clicked it, it was already sold and no copies were found on the internet (for the same price). So I settled on buying him a big ass bag of gummies (no relation to Gummy*) and chocolate bars.

I was gonna buy k prime a shirt and umbreon but he took off all the shirts and some other stuff so just got him gnar and the little plush.

How many of us went past the 35 threshold? Feel like josh spent maybe 20ish on me for the kraken, I guess that depends where he got the bottle since stuff I saw at specs was 20 not including tax.
I really wanted those tiny kraken shots =(

So, the MLP Theatrical movie will be animated in Toon Boom instead of flash(basically flash on steroids)

That will be interesting to see, what kind of upgrades to the animation style you guys think will come along with the movie?

Also, i found out that all the plushes are sold on 123cosplay.com just a few days ago. You have to constantly research for the product on eBay again every time because they always sell by third parties when not on the main 123 website.

Not expecting too much more out of it. Way I see it, I'm already satisfied with animation as is, it'd be smoother if else. Otherwise I'd compare it in a simile is like comparing 1080p to 4k TVs. The reward factor is negligible and I'd enjoy it either way.

I'm sure Amazon sells it. I got mine at Best Buy during a Christmas shopping run a few weeks ago.

Oh. I just tried googling the description, didn't really turn out the results I wanted. I probably should've dug into the manufacturers for those plushes. I found a huge version of Funrise Octavia plush at Toys R Us, but the ribbon hairs :x

That reminds me...do ponies even celebrate New Year's? I remember Halloween (Nightmare Night) and of course Hearth's Warming (Christmas), but I don't recall the other holidays they celebrate that parallel ours.

There is Hearts and Hooves (Valentines) day, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

There's Winter Wrap Up, Running of the Leaves, and Summer Sun Celebration. Those are the other seasonal parallels to Hearth's Warming (spring, fall, and summer respectively). Not sure what their real life equivalents would be.

I'd say the Sun Solstice Celebration would be closest to their equivalent to New Years Celebration. Considering they use seasons rather than months, it's made out to be an important and meaningful event. Otherwise, no New Years as well as Thanksgiving.

EDIT: That's surprising. All 5 seasons of MLP are on netflix now. I figured it'd take longer for Season 5.

Especially considering how long it took for new seasons of Psych to get on there...

Hey guys. I may not be able to play Xenoblade X right now, but I managed to get a start on season 4. Just finished the first two episodes. Here are my thoughts about it.

Great start to season 4, especially picking up where we left off last time when Twilight was crowned as a princess. I really did enjoy the flashbacks Twilight had throughout the episode seeing how Celestia and Luna found the elements, how they defeated Discord, AND how Celestia was forced to banish Luna. I'm still a little bit skeptical about the case they found after they rescued the Tree of Harmony, but all in all the episodes were a pretty good start to Season 4.

Final Score: 10/10
