Yes, it's a book of poetry. No, I have no delusions of grandeur, nor assumption that a book of poetry in this day and age will sell any more than a contemporary jazz album; that is to say, not very much at all. It's a point of pride I take in the fact that my book was published at all. However, if I can share my ability with the world, I'll obviously actively try to do so.

That being said, if you buy a book, I'll love you forever. I'd sign your copy as well, if you mail it to me.

The walk of life is marred
With broken glass, jagged rocks
And the bones of those too weak
To make something of themselves.
Through an absent will
Comes no resolve
Tired, malformed brethren seeking law
The dregs of earth do scour deep
And inject such a potent malady
Apathy, the dire call

Your raging will does shine bright
Illuminating this stagnant night
But champion of your cause you are
The ever higher, longer fall
Though your feet may tender bleed
Take a lesson from those underneath
Victory comes through time and toil
And the weak fertilize the soil

Stand tall, soldier, raise the flag
Ascension from grandest plight
Determination sees you through
Victoriously, survive the fight.
