Mushroomy Kingdom Unveiled

Wow, this is one of the more beautiful updates I've ever seen... the idea of fighting in a richly detailed version of the old Mushroom Kingdom that is now in ruins. It just seems like a beautiful idea to me, and it sorta shows how the Mario series has moved on from such simple times, and makes it even more nostalgic in the process by making it seem really old. As a pretty big Mario fan, this stage just hits all the right spots for me.

And the music. My god, the music is BEAUTIFUL, I really want to hear the full version of that track.

Definately my favourite stage, its just like like SMB... but it looks way more awesome!

Love the music too, one of the best ones, methinks...

I also like the way Marios new graphical design kinda matches this stage, it makes me want a Mario game with this style...

ONLY ONE PROBLEM: There isnt a gap between the "steps" that back onto each other (2nd pic)... I seem to remember a gap... why is there no gap... its bugging me... -_-... dammit...

Oh well, tis still perfectly awesome! ^_^

Wasn't there first a pair of stairs with no pit, and then a pair of stairs with the pit. ...I guess so you can practice jumping across it the first time??

I checked my copy of the original. There's no pit until the second set of "stairs".

Nice arrangement of the Mario theme, but the piano is waaaay too bright and harsh. I know the Japanese tend to like theirs that way, but as a piano player it makes my skin crawl.

I don't know why some really dislike the decayed look... We have multiple other green and alive mushroom kingdom stages already; it's a nice change

I like how people instantly judge a level as "tournament legal" immediately from first impressions. To me it seems that Mushroomy Kingdom could be tournament legal as much as Rainbow Ride/Cruise already is. A slow scrolling stage doesn't sound that bad.

Btw, stage with a roof + moving elecators = WIN

They still need a stage with usable pipes and a POW block though. OR ELSE!!!!

The idea of remade stages to have a different feel to it is interesting... I hope there are more like this stage.

I'm Meta Kirby and I endorse the inclusion of Manaphy! I just didn't want to bother going over to the actual thread for it, considering most of it would be "Manaphy sucks" posts and stuff like that.

This looks like one of the most best stage in the game! And I know that that grammar is bad! I just don't care. FEAR MY INDIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!

I agree, but I want the pow block to be a standard throwing item like on mario advance

Anyways this level is cool. A side-scrolling world 1-1 in brawl. and world 1-2. That would be sweet. I can't wait to play this level.

I admit that my judgment is a bit premature. I'll even say that it could be totally off-base, but I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is... unlike some of the others here.

Side-note: It is pretty funny that the emoticon for putting one's foot in one's mouth has a dollar-sign over the mouth. :$
