These are the IPs the company wants to focus on, and as such are ones that might very well be forced into Multiversus. None of the series in the "Iconic Series" category have characters, and three in "Franchises" are also without: "Shark Week", "90 Day Fiance", and most notably "Harry Potter". It seems like they're going to ignore all the Rowling controversy and keep the series relevant, for better or for worse.

Imagine we get Sheldon Cooper. His side special is that he knock on a door. Passive abilities: if he does this move 3 times in a row there's a laugh track which boost Sheldon attack.

Animaniacs stage probably means Animaniacs characters. They're probably further along than we think. Remember, Morty had no files of him datamined, but he's coming before Rick, who is entirely in the files.

Finals (for MVS) today and Tony has said co stressing is encouraged. We're likely getting getting some form of annoucment

Yeah, I kind of doubt that Rick and Morty will be the only characters in season 1 if everything else gets this kind of boost.

That said, the game is mad fun so far. I never thought I'd be so good at playing as Superman.

As for my list of wants, I'll set aside game, anime and TMNT character-related wishes for the moment and focus on non-leaked WB-related fighter possibilities.

I can certainly live with that. Him fanboying over DC superheroes would be funny, too.

That being said, I wouldn't be too worried about shill picks if the game is deadset on being more ambitious than the average platform fighter. WB has plenty of stuff to use in its vault besides the licenses that are complicated to negotiate for.
