Opps yeah I could see bowser Jr,but not black shadow because if Samuri Goro didn't get in I don't think he will, Waligi don't see being a charater yet since wario just being in. And Who is Pico?

This is very ture. I do feel, however, that Sakurai's cave to Sonic fans is going to happen to Ridley fans. If Ridley is not in Brawl, expect the world to literally turn itself inside out, flush itself down a toilet and then jump off of a cliff due to Ridley's fans' anger.

Thats it. Past them you get into toss-ups (K Rool, Bowser Jr, Vaati, perhaps Wolf [if he hasn't been made nothing but the costume we know of for Fox]) or guys with little to no chance (Black Knight, Dark Samus, Waluigi, etc). Villains are just by and large out-prioritized by the heroes of their series, so only the series with large numbers of reps, a truly important and popular villain, or few heroes to choose from stand much of a chance of getting one.

Ganondorf is pretty much a definite. Clearly above all other Zelda villains. Dedede and Ridley are the only two realistic choices besides him. After that, the chances for other villains get pretty bad. Smash is about the heroes more than the villains you see. Still, the most likely villain besides the three up there is probably Bowser Jr, though I do question if they will have a second version of Bowser before Mario.

Blood Falcon has the F-Zero series covered as far as a villain is concerned, and anyone else doesn't really have enough to put them in as playable (You were are only hope Goroh) Wolf is probably a alt color too, but that's probably for the best as it saves roster space. K. Rool is probably out since not only is he a crummy villain in his own right, but also Bowser is the one fighting against DK in SE. Everyone else though doesn't have much of a chance period. =/

edit: why is everyone putting Ganondorf after Dedede and Ridley, seeing as how hes a veteran he's MORE likely than those two. not to mention he shouldnt even be included in this discussion (the title says NEW villain).

Ok just kidding, I'd guess King K. Rool but that new video of Koopalings stealing DK's stash worry me. It seems as though they are ignoring the villain route but he might be an unlockable late in the game and so doesn't get his own videos like that. If not him, I'd say Claus since Mother is getting good attention.

Counting Bowser and Ganondorf, four, maybe five. (Add one to that if you consider Mewtwo a villain.) If it goes beyond five, I'll be shocked - there just aren't that many great villain candidates, especially if we presume Wolf is just a Fox costume.

There are almost no female villains among Nintendo's games period. There are a few in Fire Emblem, but they're mostly secondary at best, underlings to the real villains. Golden Sun had Menardi and Karst, but they were secondary to their male counterparts, Saturos and Agatio. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door had a few, but again mostly minor, and in any event they're all too insignificant overall to stand a chance. One of Wario's ancient games had one called Captain Syrup, but thats really scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to obscurity and insignificance.

Basically, no, not really.

Waluigi. why do so many people misspell that. and he isnt really a villian...he just is this plumber who admires wario and likes to say his own name alot, while attempting to make mario mad because he is jelous that he doesnt get to tap peach.

Pico's the merc (in addition to being an assassin), not Goroh. Goroh's a bounty hunter/bandit.

Anyways, the only surefire villain additions that I could think of are Ridley and Dedede, and whether they'd be playable characters or bosses is still up for question (though hopefully the former in Ridley's case...). King (or Kaptain) K. Rool, Dr. Robotnik, Masked Man, Deathborn (**** Black Shadow...), and the Black Knight would also be great additions as well, but there is still some uncertainty as to whether or not the will be included beyond being featured as trophies.

I would have to agree with the Ganondorf, King Dedede and Ridley order. That's a pretty good one. Other than them, I would like to see Claus, just because he seems so cool, and Wolf, but some of these characters chances are diminishing. Zant was pretty cool, but I think he needed a bigger part in order to get into Brawl as a playable. I woul dthink that he and Midna are Assists.

You know what, we need playable ANDROSS!!! Excellent idea. Heh, nah, he'll be a boss if anything. I think that baddies from the main 4 series are fine enough, that being Mario-Bowser, -Link-Ganondorf, Pikachu-I suppose Mewtwo again, and Kirby-King Dedede. Ridley for Samus is such a given though, and completely possible.

I would love to see the Masked Man from Mother 3 (*sigh* I guess theres no point in calling him that. You've all completely spoiled that game by now)
