In Ireland off licences close at 10pm.

It's illegal to publicly criticise another religion.

Advertising or displaying any tobacco related product anywhere is illegal too.

Wet Magic mushrooms are illegal but dry ones aren't.(Ireland has some kick *** shrooms growing everywhere around Autumn too)

It's illegal to sell alcohol on good Friday.

Red Lemonade is banned in every EU country except Ireland.

Just thought Id share some random info.

That's crazy... it made me sad. I spent 7 weeks interning in Montana tracking wolf pack movements. It's quite an understatement to say that there wouldn't be wolves in Utah.

You guys are way too passionate. It's not like these laws ever get enforced, and
if they do, just appeal the decision to a court. The laws are made to please the populace, whomever that may be, and not to make you happy. Also its naive to say that all these laws are stupid. All of them have reasons (albeit stupid ones, like the miscarriage one).

We're passionate because our government likes to make decisions about situations they know little about.

Heard about HR 669? It was a bill they were trying to pass in the House of Reps about banning exotic animals in the US. A.k.a. any creature that is not native to the United States. As in every single pet out there. All fish except goldfish, all reptiles, all small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits but not rats and mice, all birds. Every parrot out there is from another continent so parrots out be out too.

We fought the bill off but they're revising it and gonna try again in the near future. We'll probably fight that one too. Their reason is because of invasive species ruining the ecosystems, which makes sense but it shouldn't be a NATIONAL law. Each state should ban the animals dangerous to their ecosystems, like how it ALREADY IS. All the problems in Florida sparked the problems but you shouldn't ban EVERYTHING in the whole nation because of that.

What the heck is a parrot gonna do in Alaska if it gets loose? Get eaten by something or die of starvation most likely. Same for guinea pigs in Montana. What are tropical fish like bettas or tetras gonna do if someone lets them go in Maine? Die and get eaten that's what. It's ******** to ban animals that will NOT survive no matter what in states with extreme climates. Out here in Hawaii all snakes and lizards (cept Jackson's chameleons) are banned because they can and will survive and take over.

You'd get to keep the animals you already have, but if they bred (like if you had two hamsters and they had babies on accident) they'd confiscate them, kill them then at the least fine you, worst jail you for breeding exotic animals. If you happened to move to another state? Your animals would be killed. You can't give them away, and you can't cross state borders with existing exotics. So if you moved, they would take your parrot, rabbit, whatever, and kill it.

So yeah. The U.S. is just ******** when it comes to certain things. Look at the wolf situation for living proof. We HAVE to be passionate to stop our government from doing things that would cause more harm than good.

Yeah, I remember that, it's so hypocritical. Dogs and Cats are pretty much the biggest threats to ecosystems, yet they're allowed in every state. Ferrets, Bearded Dragons and what not have had little to no feral populations (heck Guniea Pigs and Hamsters are extinct in the wild) yet are banned for who knows what . . . . Besides goldfish (which are usually cruelly kept in bowls since those are perfectly legal) dogs and cats aren't even from America.

The only cities that should ban exotics are ones like Miami that have a climate that allows freed Iguanas and Monkeys to populate the area. But those are far and few.

You're not passionate. You're mad for 5 minutes and then you go do something else.
You actually are the government. The only reason stupid things happen in government is because of the extreme lack of civic participation.

Note the two times "we" is used in your quote. You weren't campaigning or fighting against the bill now were you? I guess that's part of the problem when people consider themselves active in fighting something when they rage at it behind their computer screen.

And your complete ignorance of teh wolf situation suggests that you should not even talk about it. You probably don't even know where they live, what they eat, the dangers they present to people and industry.

Yeah, they made the law because some instances women pay guys to beat them so they miscarriage.....but this covers ALL miscarriages.
Bit of a troll here but...

Incorrect sir. It clearly states "miscarriages that result from an "intentional, knowing, or reckless act" would be treated as illegal abortions..." which doesn't cover accidental miscarriages although I agree they're going to have a hell of a time trying to figure out which is which.
