I'm free pretty much all month besides this upcoming weekend. I've got relatives visiting from out of state.

Also, I might have found a venue for a tournament. Venue fee would be between $0-2 per person but it closes at 5:30 on Saturdays (and that's not really negotiable). It's open until 8 on Fridays, but the turnout probably wouldn't be that great since people have to work. Let me know what you think, and regardless of whether it would work out, let me know the best days to host so that you'd be able to go (in case I find a venue with better hours).

when you say this weekend, does that include you being busy on friday?

also, any day/time is good for me since i don't currently posses one of those "life" things y'all talk about.

Im going to find out my work schedule today, but i know i wont have to work tomorrow or wednesday forsure the rest of the weekend and thursday is unknown for me yet will post of just tell you later on lol

Yeah that sounds good. I am actually busy friday (and I'm smashing with some ppl who just got back from college wednesday). Lol, I've started working on my sheik. It's garbage but it's improved from what it was a week ago.

And the venue I was looking at isn't gonna work out. I did look into that building the chess club was held at and apparently it's owned by the church next door. I'm gonna try to contact them soon about it, but frankly I think the room's too small. There's a pool table and ping pong table in there and it's not that big to begin with. I think the church's basement would actually work out better.

i just don't see why you're the one to say that.
you're pretty good at melee imo, but you don't play us.

this **** is whack. when brandon was here, he was ALWAYS down to play me... even though i sucked.
i bet jr would always play me too. lol. but that's because he's ******** and seems to enjoy playing someone he can own with ease. andre, at your smashfest you're the only one i wanted to play, but then you turned on brawl so i was discouraged for the rest of the day. lol

the reason i win is cuz i have the confidence to do so, luckily i was raised in smash always being better than everyone around me. i'm lucky that i started early. however i know that someone who is weak can easily become great and gain confidence, like brandon. he used to be garbage because everyone startsl ike that, and now he is amazing and has beaten great players. brandon is very humble, and i know he had trouble dealing with the pressure of matches before but now i know he is more confident (not cocky like me, but has confidence) and can deal with his matches well because he knows he is pretty good. i think im just speaking for him, but its probably true
