jr, i watched a video of me and you vs fresno kids in grand finals.
i just picked peach and tried to keep them separated.
interesting to watch with my current mindset.

i played with 4 new guys from pleasanton, and then

i played with tafo, brandon, and bluefoxxt

then i played with level 9's

cloyster + lilligant + blaziken was the most GODLIKE hyper offense core. all 3 of them can make mad sweeps and cover everything

with the ken ban i was never able to recover

now scizor + rotom + landorus is waaaaaaaaaaay too good

get at my 4th gen stall team. Is rotom viable? He's a bit bulky, but...you just chip away health and rotom does pretty bad damage though his typing + ability is godly.

Do you play heatran? That would be beyond godly in that team comp seeing how scizor attracts fire and landorus can take ground attacks for heatran. I would do choice scarf heatran. Just fire blast ohko / 2hko everything in the game.

the last team I was using was exclusively 4th gen stuff since I don't know what most of the new pokemon are, but I didn't really care either since I won pretty much all my games. Though I need something better to lead since the system is new.

I've been using skarm (with sp def since it only needs HP evs to make it unbreakable on the physical side), blissey, heatran, celebi, suicune (crocune after one CM = GG), CB scizor. The main point of the team is to set down SR and if possible spikes so I can play ring around the rosie afterwards with skarmbliss and heatran and celebi to finish it up with crocune. Scizor pokes really hard and snipes off weakened stuff with BP and uturn. Really solid team though I'm sure I could make a real gen 5 team to rank up

im pretty sure that machamp would get bodied by skarmory, celebi, and crocune. Get at special defence skarmory. Celebi too good.

You're assuming machamp is already out and that I switch into it. Also you would have to be a fool to bring in the last three in against machamp. Also machamp is slower than all of the pokemon(except blissey, I think they both have the same speed or machamp is faster) unless you're running a lot of speed EVs in which case machamp gets wrecked by the top three.

Heracross isn't scary at all, at worst if it's choice scarf or choice band you one for one with heatran giving me a momentum advantage. You would have to play a full team of mixed sweepers with two fighters to really get a solid advantage in typing.

You knew how scary heatran was when I played against you spenser, you pretty much gave me the game against a rain dance team because you never knew when I would fire blast or explode

I would play a ghost but I think ghosts in general are suboptimal in a stall team since they lack reliable bulk and hp recovery.

I think the best wall breaker back in 4th gen was breloom since it pretty much wrecks every stall team without celebi and it outright won games against so many teams. There's probably some really stupid new pokemon that's really good at breaking walls though.

gimmicks are nice to have one of in a team but you need to have like three at hand to change every couple of games to keep it fresh.

my best shoddy battle team of all time was kind of an all gimmick team though sand was the main binding theme. I had shuckle in that team because it walled garchomp and it was a good utility tool overall but scizor really wrecked shuckle's viability later on
