Yea definately learned a lot today. My first real tournament. Showed me that i need to improve on my timing/placement and my sidestep skillz. Also taught me the valuable lesson that I should never pull an all nighter the night before a tournament, man i was tired.

Parker: No more shine combo's for you. I never played a good technical fox before hopefully I can play you again and learn how to get around that.
Envy: I wish i had played you more. The match we had in crews was fun.
Edy: never really played you but your link looks **** good.
Lumpy: I like your style, and your moves.
Richard: "man i suck at this game...hey you suck too" rofl. I like your falcon, we had some crazy matches, kind of intense.

Basically we're gonna try and have that video posted sometime tomorrow on youtube.

I had a great time. Hopefully I'll have work off for the tourney this next week. I had to call in sick for this one =P.

samus big blast, mario caped, samus powershielded back to hit mario... that was definately the highlight of that match up...

to be honest...
i'm not at all proud of my part in the crew battles...
haha i kinda didn't do good in any matches that mattered today...

i wanted to play you more. lately i've had some sick fanatical obsession with samus and i wanna start using her but i don't play enough to pick up any new characters.

is anybody from modesto gonna go to the fresno tourny next weekend?
i think i have next saturday off from work.

General Rules: (Credit to Plaink who I stole this from)
~4 stock
~2/3 sets
~3/5 finals
~8 minute time limit
~Items off
~Ties broken by lives, then %
~First stage agreed upon or random
~Dave’s Stupid Rule (DSR): No stage may be used twice in a single set if the counter-picking player has already won on that stage.
~Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime.
~Stage Knock Out: Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set, it must be chosen at the beginning of the set, after initial characters are chosen.
~Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or select to go random. The winner may then change their character, followed by the loser.
~Bring your own controller
~Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
~Team Attack will be ON
~Life stealing allowed

JMIC: Ugh, played you 4 times in doubles/singles yesterday and got whooped every time. Still, thanks for reping our Fresno, yeah yeah.

The most I've ever smashed in one day was like 18 hours I think. That was a long time ago.

To be honest, I play 4 times a week, averaging probably 4 hours per session. I just don't have the time anymore. In summer, I played like everyday for like 8 hours at least.

oh, sorry, but that wasn't completely my fault, lumpy and park delayed everything so the people they played had to play a lot of matches in a row, like the people in the losers bracket

but also, don't forget, the people in the losers semi don't really get a break, they win then play the losers final, then that winner goes on to play more

so yea, i did semi rush it, but it wasn't completely my fault, like if it was an NCB, they wouldn't care cause they are trying to get it done and so were we

i think that was everyone i played bassically except for the freindlies in the beginging which was a nice warm up from what seemed like a 20 year break, i mean my controler was seriously freezing and i couldn't warm it up, it took like 20 min for me to even get a good grip on it
