For the upcoming Nintendo direct, there could be just a tease and not a full reveal. They could just say, for example, that "One of the 4 champions of Hyrule" will be it and also say how it's unfortunate that there's no room for even two of them, let alone all of them.

Well, there's not even a hint of who the final fighter is.
IMO, if one of the champions was it, I think they would've hinted on them like what happened with ARMS.
