Tell me how my reaction, posting a facepalm picture, is any bit decisive evidence that I'm Town.

Also, if it IS decisive evidence that I'm town from your point of view, why didn't you make a case for scum Vinyl right then and there after I posted the facepalm picture?

Also, I'm Town, so of course I'm not going to quick shoot.

By 'your reaction' I didn't mean the facepalm picture, I meant your #880 and #882, and the fact that you didn't shoot me.

I didn't even have a decisive case for Vinyl scum then. I probably still don't, but I can make a pretty good one, just give me a bit of time. I'm making/burning dinner right now.

The biggest contradictory point remaining is that you "reaction tested" Vinyl as well, but you continued to reaction test Vinyl when presumably you had already reaction tested the both of us already. Yet you continued to reaction test Vinyl. That's what has been bothering me, and I'm 95% sure I know why.

Bardull, why didn't Vinyl bother to defend himself against me shooting him if he was town?

In #897 he says i'm null, so presumably I could be either town or scum, but then in the very next post I say I'm going to shoot him... and he doesn't even ask me why.

Surely if he thought I might be town, he'd be concerned about me shooting him. But the only thing he asks me at all is this:

Can I shoot you since you're going to shoot me? So that way, bardull can be the only who decides to shoot which?

Am I good troll?

So either he's town and he was lying, or he's town and his opinion on me changed very quickly and he didn't tell anyone, or he's scum.
Seem fair?

On a re-read I've noticed you make almost exactly the point I've just made in your #913, Bardull.

You've got to admit, it's pretty suspect.

Bardull, all you've done all game is try and explain to me how dumb my play is, get frustrated at how dumb my play is, and ask why i'm playing that way. This is a compliment. At no point did you ever try and paint me as scum, when you had more than ample opportunity to. You also didn't shoot me at any point, which you could have done so more than happily as scum.
I can find examples if you like, but your play as a whole lead me to the conclusion that you were town.

By contrast, as I've been digging myself a hole, Vinyl has done nothing. He just sat back and let it happen. When I asked him some really loaded questions, he didn't give a strong opinion, when I said i'd shoot him he didn't seem bothered, and he hasn't asked my why I'm playing this way, at all, despite being given ample reason to, and plenty of opportunities. He's also pretty much contradicted his own reads.

Based on all of this, I shot him. Since then, he's been very quiet, not at all angry or anything, and is happy for me to have the spotlight.

Please look this over and consider it. Any questions you've got I'll answer.

I'm beyond your ultimatums. My only question for you here is what has you convinced that Vinyl is scum? You're the most swingy player I've ever met EVER. It seems like you don't think you have a chance of convincing Vinyl that I'm scum, so you're willing to settle for a shot between yourself and Vinyl. You realize how scummy this is, right?

It was posts like this that made me confident you were town. I'm threatening to shoot Vinyl, and you want to know my read on Vinyl, and you want to hear the reasoning- you're not just jumping on it. You're pointing out the weird parts of my play, but you're not even accusing me of being scum for them- you're asking whether I know what I'm doing.


I'm sorry I played so dumb, but I did so on purpose. Whether or not this is because I'm town or scum is WIFOM, so me telling you I'm town won't do anything.

But look at Vinyl's play, and all of the holes in it- can you really say he's acted town this game?

When I said 'Bardull please shoot me', you obviously facepalmed and decided not to do it. As I mentioned earlier, in your #880 and #882, you react pretty strongly. You also ask Vinyl what he thinks, and this is what you get:

I do still think that your town, but the game started, so ima keep and eye on both or you guys.

This, which is 99% fence sitting with a little bit of an appeal to you.

So he had a plan and thought you would know what he's trying to do. And apparently, you didn't so that's one odd plan out.
And if you look at the white text, he says he thinks, and honestly he doesn't know.
This sounds like a weak, frail reason, but I'll find up another reason.
Except that this is the only reason I can think of, lol.

And this, which... talks about the way I was playing, and calls me on using the word 'think', then fluffs two lines about how he hasn't said much.

Whereas you had a strong and vocal reaction, Vinyl offers basically nothing at all. That's why I decided to test him specifically.

So I go on to ask him an incredibly loaded post in #889, to which he replies with almost zero content, and then two more questions in #894 and #896.
His responses:

None. Because if one of you are scum, that game would be over.

Which, is not exactly a very good answer as town. 'If I pick the wrong one' would've been better. Also- he's not got an opinion still.

I'd say both of you seem sorta null.

And I still wouldn't shoot both of you It's been one and a half page since this game started.
I don't expect anyone to shoot anyone that early.

You already know that his null reads on both of us are suspect, both in themselves, and because he seems to contradict himself.
But secondly, he doesn't want to shoot anyone yet, he thinks it's too early- despite the fact that he's done next to nothing to progress the game at all. He says it's too soon to shoot anyone, but he's not asked a single solid question at this point in the game.

Once I get this, I'm confident of Vinyl being scum, but not certain, so I ask

Bardull, any questions before I shoot Vinyl?

This is my last push, on both of you. Had you come in and just attacked me or something, or had Vinyl actually posted some content, I might've changed my mind. But Vinyl just tries to shrug off the pressure - does he think he's obvious town? And you continue to ask what the hell's going on, so I shoot Vinyl.

Sorry, just haven't gotten the interest in this game. Kary is mad scummy but I can see the town incentive, while I can see both sides of Town Vinyl and Scum Vinyl.

What's been bothering me is that Vinyl hasn't put out any information that I can use and hasn't really made a case for Kary, whereas Kary has provided a case for Scum Vinyl.

Vinyl has also been trolling (or trying to) and being generally anti-town while Kary hasn't necessarily been doing the same thing.

So I'm thinking I'm probably going to shoot Vinyl tonight. I'm going to reread first of course but since I don't have the time for that right now, it'll have to wait.
