That looks like it would turn into an epicmafia normal set-up.

Two cops in a counter claim with others trying to figure out which is legit.

Then it does it again with a clear in lylo that tries to figure out which of the other two is scum.

It's supposed to be a lylo game. Originally the set up called for a day vig (i.e the shooter's dilema) but i feel like day cop serves the same purpose

Dude. Everyone in the history of ever has a shot at being correct with their reads. Doesn't mean you're worth anything. Your only game that I've ever seen you make an impact that's not "god where is this guy even" is the mini maf before last, and that was an accident likely on your part. You don't post nearly enough, both quantity wise and substantially. All you have to do is pop in and talk about things you want to talk about, and lead your own reads and ask questions to help gauge yourself, as well as respond to others trying to get reads. Just. Play. The. Damn. Game.

Your suspicions seem more gut to me rather than strong stances that have reasoning to them. (My reads suck that way too but I try to strengthen my reads)

Vinyl, have you read any guides on mafia at all? Do you understand the theory and stuff?

I have read a good amount of guides, mostly from people who have played, and I understand the theory. If there is a role I do not know about I will quickly search it.
My problems with mafia is making reads and lack of motivation if I have to read tons of pages I haven't read up just yet.
I want to improve, and doing anything to improve as long as it doesn't interfere with my schedule.

All-hydra games make it a lot more confusing. I really suggest you strip your game plan down and go back to the basics and actually learn to read people.

You have to be present in RVS, midgame, and endgame. You can't be as lurky as you usually are. You can't read people if you don't start trying to talk with other people in RVS. Say more stuff. Try more techniques from the guides. Be risky.

>Tons of pages:
Get used to it. You have to READ the actual game. Does the "WHo could be scum" bug not affect you? Do you not have ANY interest to find scum? If you do have interest to find scum, then read!!! Take the time. MAKE THE EFFORT. The only reason you have no motivation is because you never read the pages and let them pile up before you, right? Read before that happens. I mean, right now I am IMPATIENT and want to bust into the large game hosted by gova. That's how much I want to find the scum and kill them by jumping up in the air with a lance and piercing their throat. Or that could be my angst from walking pissed off at my sister for making me walk in the damn cold for nothing.

You need to make sure you don't overload yourself. I have done so before, and realized I can only do one game at a time. Do that, and put in your all. Don't sideline in a game due to 'schedules'. You signed up, prepare to put in the time. July does it! So can you.

Re-cap:

Be active and present.
Read and even re-read. You have to absorb the info. (I suggest you take notes, on evernote and make yourself a qt to talk to yourself)
Make the time for the game, don't sideline and use your schedule as an excuse. Only join one game at a time.
Put in extra effort. Post more.

Oh and think before you post. Proofread. Do sentences make sense? Are you saying what you intend to get across? Cuz anyone can take anything and misinterpret, and that's not their fault if you make a post that can't be quite understood.

I could be #goodguyDietz and hydra with Vinyl if that's what needs to happen. I'm no pro but I'm willing to help while Gova's game gets those last few players if he truly wants to turn his Dgames career around.

My condition though is that he does 3/4ths of the posting for our hydra. I'd be there as a resource and to help him think the critical questions and answer them for himself, but the last thing I want is for the hydra to become "just Dietz" if he agrees as that defeats the purpose.
