Like you had said gorf's reaction to you shooting him is really nonchalant, I'm not sure what it entails but I'm not sure I like it off the feeling of it. Hes almost saying "Couldn't care less and you know it" but Im not sure it's a scum(?) on him.

I'm honestly going slow for you because we have eight days in this Day (btw in order to mention irl days we here use a lowercase d, and to mention an in game Day we use a capital D), and I have no problem using all of it to try and get you used to forum mafia.

Let me give you a sense of perspective by telling you where my head is at right now.

I think you, Hollow, are mafia and Ruy is town. To me, Ruy's bait in asking whether or not I wanna be shot was a way to get your perspective on that instance, and the fact that it took you until now to respond to it at all is fishy. Also, the fact that there's not even some form of suspicion that you have between me and Ruy is puzzling. We've said plenty enough for you to have at least more than just a confused read on us. No opinion either way at all on how I've been approaching the game, trying to make you the focus? No opinion at all of Ruy's entrance, sudden vanishing act, and then reappearing act? No opinion at all about anything we've done?

Btw, me and Ruy BOTH invite you to be as expressive as physically possible in this setting. In a regular mafia setting, even as a townie, there are things to hide and things to reveal to the rest of the people, since what you're saying to town is also being said to mafia and can make them think twice about what they do during the Night, as far as sending in Night kills (btw keep reading megaman in order to get a better idea of how the game flows). Here, we're basing everything off of what we're saying. So please, be as vocal as you feel you need to be. I won't call you an idiot for it (this game at least).

tbh I wasn't thinking too much about you making me focus of the game I thoguth you were just giving some needed advice to a new person, nor did I give any thoughts to the disappearance of Ruy.

I do have one thing about you though (and this leads into a read(?)) I feel like your whole IDGAF attitude was right. You knew that he wouldn't shoot you because if he had the game would have been over right? Cause if he had shot you and you were mafia you wouldn't have a reason to shoot leading me to a conclusion that you were the mafia. If he was the mafia, you know he wouldn't waste his shot this early in the game because if there was a falling out between us two, he woudlnt' have been able to do anything if you shot me. Then I would have the last shot and no idea what to do with it except shoot him resulting in a stalemate. So I have a feeling that you are more town and he is more mafia. Those are my first reads off of what's been said.

Yea. Developing a read one somebody is basically that, the act of analyzing their play and basing a OFTEN TEMPORARY conclusion of alignment in your head for them.

Actually the reason I was so nonchalant about him shooting me was because the game WOULDN'T be over, and I don't think Ruy has the big boy balls to do something like that in this setting. You see, in him shooting me it forces me to shoot him back, since shooting you would be utterly pointless. It's not like you'd shoot yourself over me after all! Therefore, it'd leave the decision of deciphering who is scum up to you, which honestly I don't think a townRuy OR a scumRuy (we here on this site use scum as the go-to word for people who aren't town, whether they be mafia members or independent non-sided roles) would want. That in itself is a null tell to me, but I'm still not digging your whole needing to be prompted to say that.

In order to try and gauge something. That's another thing about playing this game. People really like doing things in order to see how who would react in what way. I, personally, think he was hoping to get some sort of reaction out of me as well as see how you would take it. It's not weird for people to call other people's moves dumb and not be phased by things like that when you know that nothing would come of it. But you shouldn't have known nothing would come of it. I actually think you should have been more worried about what Ruy was doing when he said that.

I'm not quite as convinced that his behavior has been scummy, I'm just moreso convinced that your earlier play was pretty townie of you and can see the scum in it. And, well, since I'm town, that means that either you're town or he's town, so.

Slightly not so much as to who you were doing it to but as to why you were doing it. Was the entire thing just to get a reaction out of gorf> DId you also expect a reaction out of me as well from it?

If you're town, well ****. You certainly made it incredibly hard to read you bud. It'll definitely be easier to a degree to play with a larger number of people, but it's the same basic idea, except rather than two other people it's like 11, and Nights happen and shiz. If you're town, you'll be fine in for real for real mafia if you keep thinking like you were by the end. It was your early needing to be pushed to be engaged that piqued my curiosity of your slot.

Gg's Ruy, tried to be as blatantly townie as possible so that I can weed out which one of you was my fellow townie, and it worked. HollowNote, if you played like you did when you finally got it in you to start saying things about what was going on at the start, I don't know if it'd have been as easy. But you played it really well for a first timer. Good job

Gorf I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if I was reading Hollow for being new or scummy, until he really wasn't committing to anything which seemed kinda odd when it didn't change at all. Glad to give you trust.

Hollow, I think you tried to fake intent as scum but may have tried to play your part too much to where you didn't make a clear stance before it was too late. Still props though, you're better than I thought you would be.
