I think honestly though that the most telling thing is even if you assume that Xat is the worst mod and made a self doccing townie, TRG's play makes even less sense because he should WANT to look townie and draw the nk, not hide around

As to the zen side of things, there is no way town zen buys a town self doc claim as town, he's being obstinate because he either wants to kill trg and look like townie gov, or keep trg around long enough to end game him and town.

It's a matter of whether or not the mafia thinks you are the lynchee, which I doubt otherwise he wouldn't be on your wagon.
If mafia thinks you're lynchee he will kill you, otherwise he wont since you're the number 1 lynch choice. The only one in the way of you being lynched is myself so mafia will likely aim for me if not protected.

No sane mafia would shoot a town gov intent on stopping lynches this hard as long as they weren't the one on that person's acceptable lynch list, and you've already made it more than clear your opinion is Rake = Lyncher and Rake is the only acceptable lynch, so why would mafia shoot you.

You want doc to be on you so you have free range to find the lyncher/lynchee, which you think is Rake/TRG and are more than confident you can shoot one of if town doesn't bend to your Rake lynch proposition yes?

Also, Rake can definitely go. I still don't think his reads are genuine or make sense. Why would scumgovernor Zen cockblock the lynch of "obvscum" indydocTRG?

Because as long as he can convince town to follow his puppet game of chasing his exact definition of lyncher or getting no lynches at all he has free reign on the game, and if he gets his way: so much the better.

He can shoot whoever he wants when the lights go out so it doesn't really matter to him. Rake is the easiest push to label as lyncher play.

Really though, are people actually expecting a mafia gov? That would make the game literally unwinnable for town because mafia gov can simply prevent his death forever - the only alternative would be a successful lyncher win. I don't think we should speculate on that because it'll help us none.

Gheb, Xatres mod confirmed to us that Governor can be Town or Mafia, and that in either case Gov cannot stop his own lynch.
