I like Rosalina for getting the game moving and trying to keep it active. I like his 2 scum picks as well and don't have any problems with his logic so far.

I disagree with what Kursed is saying about mafia theory. In my experience town can actually get MORE upset about a vote against them than scum at times. I don't think Kursed is maliciously spreading misinformation though.

Captain Hotcakes is probably my least favourite slot right now. He had no reason to discredit Rosalina's vote on Gorf by calling it reachy circular logic and he even replied to me saying that there was nothing wrong with Rosalina's vote.

Actually, lynching nobody is almost NEVER ideal, as it takes away the only control town has over who survives in the game. It basically gives control entirely to the mafia to knock off players one by one with their night kill which obviously limits the amount of information we get. Mafia as a game boils down to narrowing down options of who can be scum with a combination of removing potentially scummy slots and clearing slots as town. In order to win we have to lynch mafia which can 100% not happen if we don't lynch. Any other lynch has at least a chance of hitting mafia. There are very specific situations where no lynching could be argued as the correct play, but other than that, everyone will agree that we want to be using our lynch every Day.

If someone is inactive and it seems like they never will be active, there's no harm in lynching them if there's no other option we can agree on. I don't think there's anyone like that in this game, though.

Yes, I know this will make my accusation of circular reasoning appear scummy. It wasn't for a page further till he explained himself. Gorf seemed like an odd target when he has been silent.

As for my FoS on you, I don't like how you handled Kursed's vote by countervoting when you say that Stick looks suspicious for doing the same thing. For all we know, you're trying to deflect pressure onto a more inexperienced player as a backpedal.

Nobody likes to be voted against with no reason why, but that's not the point Stick Dude is making. Do you think that voting against someone just because they voted for you is helpful towards the goal of lynching mafia?

I've answered Kursed's question, and I voted for Stick for the same reason as I voted for Kursed.

You've already made a case to suspect Stick as well.

I dislike how rigidly Stick Dude has adhered to his idea of countervoting to show displeasure. The refusal to unvote before Kursed followed by getting defensive when Hunter threatened to vote him puts me off, and the quick turnaround right after seems strange. However, I know he is new and feel like he could still he learning the purpose of votes and the importance of taking other people into account so the knee-jerk reaction followed by the change in attitude could be totally natural. I would lynch him if it came down to it, but I don't know that I can call him scum at the moment.

Right, we're getting close to deadline. At this point, I'm willing to lynch Kursed (till he replies at least (My vote right now was actually kinda RVS. A day without posts, really?)), Hotcakes or Kantrip. If necessary, I will be willing to vote Gorf or Hunter to reach a lynch, but they are last resort options. Why?
Kursed: He hasn't replied.
Hotcakes: Kinda absent. Can't really read him. A bit like hunter, except a bit more presence, but kinda filler.
Kantrip: He suddenly seems the most sus this early in game. If you re-read, imo most of his posts are kinda filler. He gives off the impression of activity without actually being that active imo.

I want to lynch Kantrip, but would compensate for an inactive: Hunter. I'm not willing to lynch Gorf without him having said a thing.

Kursed had a perfectly legitimate reason to vote you: to get the ball rolling. And you, instead of going along with it, counter-voted, showing disagreement. Disagreement can be showed in different, less anti-town ways. Counter-voting just because he voted you doesn't appear particularly co-operative, imo. As town, we need to co-operate to get as much information as possible.

There could be a correlation, and it's something to go off of since I hvae nothing on Captain Hotcakes.

Right now, given that we know Kantrip to be town, I'd be willing to lynch Hotcakes. I'll be honest, and I'm not too sure why Kantrip had reacted so strongly to Hotcakes, but Kantrip was town, and I'm willing to trust his instincts.

(I'm not saying that Hotcakes is mafia because Kantrip was killed, but rather Hotcakes is mafia because Kantrip is town. This is different from Hunter's statement.)

At the end of Day 1, it seemed like no one was suspicious of me, meaning the mafia would have a harder time trying to convince town to lynch me over them if they needed to.
