Pfft Gen IV was the worst of all 6 IMO. I hated the Sinnoh region. Great to see Palkia back though. He looks great.

Now that Spear Pillar is mostly gone I wonder what Gen 5/6 stage we'll be seeing? I'd personally LOVE a stage based on N's castle from Gen 5 with Reshiram and Zekrom fighting in the background.

It was the best Gen ever, Platinum was a Gen IV game and Platinum's considered by a lot of people to be the best game on the franchise. It had epic legendaries, epic Pokemon designs, great music, a cool enemy team and the best final boss in Pokemon history (Believe me, Cynthia's a MUCH BETTER final boss than Red, Lance or Gary will ever hope to be).

Worst Gen was II, but even then it was pretty good, just not as good as the other ones.

Interesting... Does anyone anyone else get reminded of when Yveltal appears in the first trailer of X and Y in the sky.

Also, Spear Pillar deconfirmed... If boss battles return with having Palkia and most likely Dialga as pokeball assists would Giratina become a boss sort of like Rayquaza. This is only if boss battles return, though.

I know I am going to miss Spear Pillar. The best time ever was playing with my girlfriend and the whole stage flipping over and she just froze, dropped her controller and walked away. Pretty much the greatest thing I had ever seen playing a Smash game. I really loved the various gimmicks of the stage with time slowing down, stage tilting and stage fully flipping and would love for a stage to take on some of these gimmicks in Smash 4. I am not sure exactly what would be the best stage but I would want those gimmicks back.

I don't even do Smash competitively. I want to be able to play without the stage flipping, the controls getting inverted, giant lasers flying through, and Cresselia killing everyone from the background.

Ok Palkia is now a pokeball pokemon this means 2 things 1 spear pillar is not going to be a returner stage
2 I'm 98% sure now that dialga is going to be a pokeball pokemon too
