True, but they could just change/remove that. Remember that Mewtwo had a similar voice in "Mewtwo Returns" (Dan Green VO) and was not a villain (technically not one by the end of the First Movie either).

He can have a deep and mysterious voice while not being evil, all they have to do is give him different lines.

The original voice is simply more iconic and fitting for him IMO (for what he's been through, despite not being a villain anymore). I know the new Mewtwo is not the old, but the female voice sounds off.

We know , it's just easier to distinguish the two (anime versions) by calling it either male or female Mewtwo.

Okay I know I'm pushing the boundaries when I say this, but wouldn't it be interesting if for a change Sakurai did something unconventional and showed us a screenshot of the current roster screen? I see this as being highly unlikely though; depending on what we were shown could reveal too much about the roster's final size, and we know how much he loves keeping us in the dark. Not to mention there could be complications with determining unlockable characters. However this doesn't have to be limited to a picture of the roster. I'm just interested in something that doesn't have to do with actual gameplay, like the return of trophies a few days back.

I thought they were modified not disfigured.

But there shouldn't be more than one Mewtwo unless Rocket's data was copied.

They genetically altered the Mew clone. Another scientist group performing the exact same altercations by chance is nigh impossible.

The scientists were not trying to clone another Mew, they were intending to make another Mewtwo - I suspect after hearing of it's power. They didn't fail in the same way, they succeeded their goal.

Anyway, stages:

My favourites on the Wii U are the Pyrosphere and the underrated Garden of Hope.

On the 3DS... um... none? I'm not impressed with the 3DS stages yet. The Kid Icarus stage, NSMB and Rainbow Road stages would all be awesome, but they scroll and I hate scrolling stages. Hopefully 'The Island' from Animal Crossing shapes up to be awesome.

EDIT: I forgot about Gerudo Valley. I like it, but I wish the bridge didn't burn down. Aside from The Battlefield, so far almost every 3DS stage has a gimmick/ hazard. I'm not a competitive player so it doesn't totally bother me, but still, it'd be nice to have something plain.

It's funny, I was just editing my post to correct myself. I looked through the old photos and realised that Sakurai hasn't stated that it scrolls. If not, it would be a great stage, with interesting platform placements.

Just because Mewtwo can't reproduce through the daycare doesn't mean it can't reproduce at all. Given that Mewtwo is an altered Mew and that Mew allegedly has the genetic precursors of every Pokemon within it, it seems entirely possible that both species reproduce asexually with a high probability of random mutation so, once one Mewtwo existed, many more could be born. Pokemon really works better as a game if no specie is truly unique; it takes some creativity to figure how I can have a box full of Kyogre, but Mewtwo existing in multiple isn't hard to contemplate.

Favorite stages are hard to say since I feel like we don't know enough about so many stages to judge; stages like the Fitness Room and Garden of Hope are still kinda mysteries and there are a few stages on 3DS we've only seen single screenshots of. I have to give a vote to Skyloft though; it basically looks like Delfino in the air, and Delfino was an awesome stage so I don't see how this does anything but work out. On 3DS I think the Mario 3d Land stage looks like a lot of fun; it seems to do a lot of cool stuff, and as someone who has always been big on accumulating stage knowledge, I already forsee that stage as one that would offer someone like me a big advantage.
