There's no pattern here. Next character will in all likelihood be Zelda. Or if not Zelda, then a Kirby one next month.

But three of them were due to promotion. Regardless, I didn't say characters wouldn't be revealed close to each other, I said predicting the next two revealed will be newcomers because last time we got newcomers revealed they came in three is a bit misguided, as that was due to E3, not a perceivable pattern or anything.

If we get Zelda next week that'd be another case of two characters being revealed quite close to each other, and that's an actual possibility.

Doubt it. She might be heavier than Peach, but chances are she was only made heavy in MK because they didn't have enough other heavy characters and they wanted to keep things even.

Right. My point was never against characters getting revealed close together, it was about getting two more newcomers after this one before any veterans simply due to what happened at E3.

I do find it kind of funny that Villager has been kind of glorified by Sakurai in the daily pictures by explaining and showing his moveset in details. Then as soon as the first trailer pops up that moveset is just being torn apart and Villager is getting his ass kicked. Poor guy.

Mewtwo weighs 269 lbs. though, and I highly doubt that Rosalina weighs that much. After all, Waluigi is tall, and yet he's a middleweight character.

Though I will say that Rosalina might weigh more than Mega Mewtwo Y.

I don't think we can translate weight directly from the source games into Smash, otherwise Snake is hiding something somewhere in Brawl. Plus, Mewtwo is actually one of the lighter characters in Melee, he's actually lighter than Ness.

I don't think Rosalina will be counted as a heavy weight or light weight character though, she'll fall somewhere in the middle I imagine, maybe a tad over Mario.

I would be okay with this actually, Mewtwo's weight and speed would be great for a character with Rosalina's moveset, or at least what it looks like her movest may be: Keep away and area control


I hope it would mean Mewtwo is getting a buff.

Mega Mewtwo Y is much lighter, so that seems like the Mewtwo form who should be the lightweight, while normal Mewtwo would be mid-heavy. Besides, Samus is very heavy for someone who's quite floaty.

I'm not complaining; I'm just saying that we should keep our expectations low. We got a newcomer and Zelda's extremely likely next week so there's nothing to complain about.

I was so mad when I saw Kibette Rosalina, but that trailer was so full of win.
Kirby's Air Ride music, which is shown to be > Mario Kart, and so many mechanics. The tree is breakable, the ring is a walk-off, all that mind-bending crap. If she didn't look like a prissy emo, I would totally main her.

All of this time waiting for old veterans and newcomers, and we get this ??? I mean, for real though, is she really that interesting ? No. It´s because Nintendo has to shoehorn her into whatever Mario media they can. Don´t get me wrong, i like this character, but i think she just wasn´t deserving of this spot yet. And if the statement that says this Smash Bros will only have 20 characters, then there is only 1 character left for the game.

And it´s absurd that they added her into the game before other characters like Wario, Ganon or Yoshi. And only 4 of the new characters are newcomers.

You know one character who has plenty of smash bros potential and is a bit overdue for an appearence ?
