By "something we've already seen" I meant that we've literally already seen this exact picture before.Pretty much everything has been something we've already seen. =P
On an unrelated note.... I kinda like the design for the 3Ds battlefield more than the Wii U battlefield. Feels less cluttered.
They're not actually the same image. The pic Sakurai added today shows much more of the stage's background than the Press Kit pics.By "something we've already seen" I meant that we've literally already seen this exact picture before.
As I said somewhere, it is now a worthy successor to the dojo. And here is the token "You Must Recover" style update.
Well, obviously it's not the EXACT same image. -__- A little bit more sky in the background isn't anything worth noting. They're not actually the same image. The pic Sakurai added today shows much more of the stage's background than the Press Kit pics.
It looks magnificent. However, I think the Wii U Battlefield is more beautiful.So....
New picture.
It's a pic of Battlefield on the 3DS version.
Yay?
I think he would sticky the thread. He once locked my thread, and after discussing it with him he unlocked it for me. Pretty considerate fellow if you ask meI requested Mario & Sonic Guy to sticky the thread. I hope he responds soon.
Speaking of which, ever noticed those small leaves (or grass) flowing about in that stage in the developer direct vid? That's good details.I can't stop being impressed by the new Battlefield. The one on 3DS is good too, but the Wii U one is simply stunning.
I don't judge games by their graphics (the most important is gameplay, after all), but the new Smash, Monolith Soft's X and a lot of games on the PS4 and Xbox One are simply impressive. Shows how the Wii U can also rival the other consoles, especially Monolith's new game.
Yeah, I've noticed. Gives off that windy, airy feel, since the Battlefield is floating high above the clouds.Speaking of which, ever noticed those small leaves (or grass) flowing about in that stage in the developer direct vid? That's good details.
Give me Phosphora with that weather effect on that stage, and I'm sold. <3Yeah, I've noticed. Gives off that windy, airy feel, since the Battlefield is floating high above the clouds.
Also, during the Developer Direct, the Brawl version of Melee's Menu theme plays on the 3DS version's Battlefield.
I'm talking about this song, by the way:
Ah, and 3DS's Battlefield will feature weather effects, as this picture implies:
I'd give it a month or two until they announce a veteran fighter, like they did with Fox (though that may have been a few months actually. I don't remember.) I'm not expecting to hear about any more new-commers until October, but that's just because that's about when I expect the daily updates to start up again.Eventually.
In all honesty, I'd give it a month of two.
I saw that. He probably means that they're in the early-mid stages of development, which is why there's no concrete release date. Or at least that's how I took it.
I don't think we're going to hear much from Sakurai this time around. I think the screens are all we're gonna get. He said towards the bottom of this article that he's not going to "talk" as much as he did during Brawl's development, and not to expect to hear from him much.I'm really impressed with the graphics of this game and enjoy the screenshots, but I hope Sakurai adds more content to the smash website as time goes on. I enjoyed the captions that brawl had.
If that's truly the case, then it seems like we're going to have to figure things out for ourselves until release; minding the false rumors and speculations. I do, however understand his point to an extent. Keeping the audience guessing, in a way.I don't think we're going to hear much from Sakurai this time around. God... Hope it gets released on the First quarter of 2014What does this mean?
So how's your copy of SSB4?God... Hope it gets released on the First quarter of 2013
Edit: Typo, I originally meant to say 2014So how's your copy of SSB4?
Maybe maybe not. I don't think we'll be getting daily updates, but considering that we have had an updating dojo with more than just image updates all three times prior, I expect we'll get non pic updates once a week maybe? Though I still don't expect anything like that to happen until at least October.I don't think we're going to hear much from Sakurai this time around. I think the screens are all we're gonna get.
