Yes, but "school axe murder blamed on a video game" is much less likely than a shooting...

You know, at times Nintendo plays it really conservative (such as wiping swapnote because people are bad) but overall, I can't really blame them... With how fanatical the media is... Nintendo really wants to keep its "family" branding, and that could kill them.

On topic.... woo Ray Gun... one of the worst items ever thought up (raaaaaaaage) lol
Superscope where you at?

I am sitting here wondering how cutting people with an axe in this fictional game is worse than what Ike was doing. Or Marth. Or Link. Or Toon Link. Or Pit. Or Meta Knight. Or Roy.

Or Snake snapping one's neck, putting them in sleeper holds, and blowing them up.

Although they did exclude his hunting knife. But maybe that is because he was based off of Solid Snake not Naked Snake aka Big Boss.

Because all of those are action games where the characters actually fight with swords?

And here I was going to give you the "Common Sense 2013 Award" for your brilliant post about Waluigi.

The "common sense" would be... why is it okay to chop people up with swords and not axes? Why are realistic guns inherently evil if you are chopping people up and dismembering them. Why is it okay to have laser guns but not airsoft guns or guns that shoot blanks/rubber bullets?

It is arbitrary.

And let's be honest here, mangling people with Dedede's hammer is probably one of the most gruesome options in Smash Bros. considering the gigantic mass of metal inside of it.

Dude's a freakin tank!!!

Don't for get Peach's L4D frying pan, GnW's jab (Penis Pump), Lucas' stick, ZSS dominatrix whip, Wario's bite, Diddy hump... I could keep this up all day.

Don't even get me started on Tabuu.

Lol I would take Nerf guns over Ray guns anyday. It keeps ppl from robbing my house.

Regardless of whether or not he's swinging it at people, the point is he still uses it.
:troll:

As for claiming he won't swing it at people, that's kind of pointless. We've seen most of his attacks already. :awesome:

Lol at all the laughable statements about Daisy.
More important because she was a Peach expy in a spin-off platformer one time? LOL.

Yup. That's how I see it. She was given an actual role of some sort in a (spin-off? how?) mainline game. Easily a more notable existence than Waluigi. Yes, Waluigi is undeniably more acknowledged than Daisy in this day and age, but it'd be unfair to say that Daisy hasn't had some sort of importance in her history.
Though of course, as time goes on, more and more people will forget about Super Mario Land, and Daisy's previous one-time role as the damsel in the distress will be completely ignored and forgotten entirely.

"Mainline"?

Lol. More of the "platforming adventures are the only games that matter" mentality.

And yet, even when the entire Mario franchise is a spin-off, the Super Mario Land games are considered spin-offs of the "main" Mario series.

Technically, the 2d and 3d platformers are the "main" series while the RPGs and Luigi's mansion and Yoshi's Island and whatever are subsets and whatever.

I mean you can go on about how every mario sports and racing game is also part of the main series, but that's kind of like if I said "Does everyone remember that crazy time Samus was locked inside a pinball machine for a whole adventure?"

Quoth the Mario Wiki (since people love to use it for a source): "The Super Mario Land series is a sub-series in the Super Mario franchise for the original Game Boy. "

So no, not all platformers are "main series".

Well see, I was completely unaware of that. I've always seen mainline titles as Mario games that are platformers in which Mario is the main playable character. If that's the case, then yeah, sure. Both Waluigi and Daisy debuted in spin-off titles. Waluigi managing to become more popular, thus being given more attention in Brawl. Got it.

For a minute, I thought you were referring to Mara instead of Dedede. Me and my dirty mind. Then again, he is a living penis. :urg:

Daisy is my favorite Mario princess and I wish she was more canon in the more mainstream Mario titles instead of being relegated to just the spin offs.

Nintendo definitely misses opportunities when making Luigi games. Luigi rescues Daisy. Get it together Nintendo.

...That said she's fine as a Peach recolor. I use that color for Peach all the time. Cuz u know Daisy da best.

Correct me if I am wrong, but:
Sub-series =/= spinoff
Therefore:
Sub-series = Part of the mainline

Sub-series is just another word for spin-off.

Both mean the same thing; a by-product of an existing product.

They are both by by-products but I wouldn't say they are the same thing because then sub seres= spin off= reboot.
Saying the Ratchet and Clank Future games is a spin off would be incorrect, but a calling it a sub series would be correct.

There is literally no difference between "sub-series" and "spin-off".

Reboot is something completely different; it's a discarding of all previous continuity in an established series to recreate the characters, story, and timeline from the beginning.
