Umbrellas too!Peach and Villager are clones guys, they both use turnips.
Plus Diddy and Olimar are clones cause they both have the same dash attack in Brawl. Oh, and MegaMan and Sonic are clones cause they both have a spring jump. Oh, and Palutena and Charizard are clones cause they both jump. Man, what an unoriginal game!Peach and Villager are clones guys, they both use turnips.
Ridley...but Ridley is.....I could be obnoxious and predict Ganondorf every night till he's revealed but I like to generally have reason behind my predictions.
Maybe Sakurai will show more of hispenispride for his own creations tonight. I'd be happy seeing some Kirby content. New or old Kirby stage, Kirby items, maybe that one remaining Kirby veteran hmm? Heck, I'd even be happy with a Kirby hat!
I also like what's going on right now '-' people joking about everyone being a clone all because one person called Mewtwo a clone or something. I don't even remember how Mewtwo got brought up in the first place, think it had something to do with Fatmanonice's list? Can just imagine the chaos if someone brought up Ridley and his chances...
Size is irrelevant in this situation. Oh wait, sarcasm strikes once more.Ridley...but Ridley is.....
TOO FREAKING BIG!!!
Listen to this one.I always laugh when people try to argue that Mewtwo and Lucario aren't a least similar. The only way Lucario's playstyle makes sense is if he wasn't at least based around Mewtwo partially; he's a steel/fighting type that floats around like a paperbag. Why does a fighting-type have energy based attacks? Why does a steel-type float around? Why does Force Palm come out like a energy blast What is Aura Storm? To me it has always been obvious that a lot (but not all) of Lucario's moves were borrowed from a reworked Mewtwo. Sonic needed to be added at the last minute so they scrapped Mewtwo and gave Lucario his moves. If Mewtwo was in the characters would have been semi-clones.
Sakurai's post when he revealed Lucario backs this.

Charizard is a flying type that's heavy as a rock
Why does a fighting-type have energy based attacks?
Have ypu seen his special attack stat?
Why does a steel-type float around?
Refer to charizard example on wy that's dumb.
Why does Force Palm come out like a energy blast?
Was like that in the anime too.
What is Aura Storm?
A giant blast.
To me it has always been obvious that a lot (but not all) of Lucario's moves were borrowed from a reworked Mewtwo.
That makes zero sense, why would mewtwo have the aura mechanic? It barely makes sence on lccario.
Sonic needed to be added at the last minute so they scrapped Mewtwo and gave Lucario his moves.
I could replace mewtwo and lucario with roy and ike and that still wouldn't make sense.
If Mewtwo was in the characters would have been semi-clones.
Lucario would teleport, grow a tail, and be able to woop?
Sakurai's post when he revealed Lucario backs this.
What was his post?
Of course they have similarities. Some attributes are the same, but that's not to say they're clones.I always laugh when people try to argue that Mewtwo and Lucario aren't a least similar. The only way Lucario's playstyle makes sense is if he wasn't at least based around Mewtwo partially; he's a steel/fighting type that floats around like a paperbag. OH WOW Can you imagine. "Pic of the day. My impressive member won't be joining Smash Bros... but... do you wish it did...? I could make it a stage or... do you like it?" Follow-up picture "Maybe, I didn't get a good angle. It really is bigger than it seems! TOO BIG for Smash Bros, in fact! Like Ridley! Ridley won't appear in this game! Screw you guys, whatever..."Maybe Sakurai will show more of hispenispride for his own (continued)
Hey remember that period when Too Big jokes were funny?TOO BIG for Smash Bros, in fact! Like Ridley! Who won't appear in this game, screw you guys, whatever..."
The only reason it was never funny was because Sakurai said Ridley would be too slow, not him being too big.Hey remember that period when Too Big jokes were funny?
You know, all 0 seconds of it?
Psh, if ya say so. If Ridley is ever confirmed for smash bros, I think I'll really miss the TOO BIG jokes. They're just sorta funny to me cause I imagine someone describing a finely crafted moveset for Ridley and explaining his fun playstyle and then Sakurai or anyone going "NAH, CAN'T - TOO BIG." Cause it's kinda a dumb argument. I mean sure a tiny Ridley would be weird but a Rosalina sized one would be fine. Eh, I don't really care, I'm neutral on his inclusion, so maybe that's why I don't mind the jokes. Sorry to any Ridley fans if you're really sensitive to size jokes I guess.Hey remember that period when Too Big jokes were funny?

Villager and Little Mac are clones because both use boxing gloves.Peach and Villager are clones guys, they both use turnips.
I'm pretty sure this was sarcasm, but I totally moved the conversation over there.Take this to the character discussion thread, we love talking about this there.
With all of this Mewtwo talk I shall tie it to the potd! Tonight we shall get a Mewtwo trophy. It wouldn't deconfirm him since that only applies to newcomers what with them having to have a trailer and all.
xD Man if that happens the site might crash, the salt would be too much.
I don't know what to expect with these PotD's It's nowhere near like last year, which makes me excited every weekday.Tomorrow I feel will be a low key day, but I'd love to be wrong
I tink he talked about his wingspan. That's literally the only problem. They can easily Charizardify that. The only reason it was never funny was because Sakurai said Ridley would be too slow, not him being too big.
Honestly, I don't even know where the whole "too big" thing came from.
Wait, what? I get Prince Sable or whatever his name is is an AT and has a trophy, a number of AT's if not all of them had that in Brawl but what does this have to do with play-ability?Well since the Prince Sable thing. Trophies can still be assist trophies along with play-ability. So we can't really say having a trophy disconfirms characters anymore.
I meant that trophies were speculated before to disconfirm unpopular characters. We already knew that trophies didn't disconfirm play-ability (Like having a Luigi/Mario/Pikachu trophy but they are still playable) but in Smash 4 we can say that trophies can potentially be confirmed later as an Assist trophy instead of nothing at all.Wait, what? Ah, okay I see what you mean. In the case of Mewtwo I can imagine there would be a lot of rage if there was a potd of his trophy and then later it be confirmed that he's an AT since once upon a time he was playable.I meant that trophies were speculated before to disconfirm unpopular characters. I guess that was unimportant since people already speculated that.
You forgot teasingI'll say a 3ds stage will be shown tomorrow too.
I'm still think a DK stage will be shown. But I'm open to whatever stage he shows us. If he does shows us a stage.
Poke Ball Pokemon. Mewtwo would be in the Master Ball, and Pichu in the regular Poke Ball. I wish they did get that in Brawl, at least. While I'd like them to be playable again, they should still do something gameplay-wise if they're not, imo. I mean, Charizard was no more than a Poke Ball Pokemon at first, after all.Ah, okay I see what you mean. Heh, funny, that's the very treatment I wish Pichu got. I miss him ;-;
