I think @CliffJumper tried to pretend to talk in French with it and as a native speaker, It's not accurate at all. I think French has a sense so...Google Translate is actually very accurate.
It's just that Japanese legit doesn't make any real linguistic sense.
Hence why Japan is so weird.
Fixed that for you.Dude, Sakurai. You revealed Ike too, yet you choose to drown us in pictures of Miis, characters people care the less about? Miis over Ike? Seriously?
That actually makes me think that it has to do with stage.Well, at least we got two bits of information. Sakurai could easily have given us just the Mii saying 'OMG LOOK AT HIS HELMET I'M SO CLEVER AND META'...
But we got a small stage tidbit too. Lucky us.
Let me translate his comment more directly:
Find Mii is definitely a banned stage. It grants advantages either based on controller port, team color, or costume color. None of these things are possible to be equally available to all players making this a rare example of a stage that is actually unfair in the most literal meaning of the word.
I agree with this though. The PotD's are struggling to always be exciting because there are so many characters. We get info on one character, but scream for another. I miss the info dumps we used to get on the Dojo.In other news, I'd like some info on some current characters that weren't playable at the demo. Peach, Charizard, Diddy, Ike... Sakurai you do remember these guys, right?
Heh, I just recognized it because I play Mii Force quite a bit. It's actually a pretty good side-scrolling shooter, and was made by the same people that made Kirby's Epic Yarn.I gotta applaud you on that find, so quickly.
You should join GameXplain.
Well this deserves some discussion, could even lessen the salty tsunami that's a brewing.
That's 3 more than Palutena. Probably 2 more if not 3 more than Pac Man.I'm not a fan of Miis myself, I will probably never play as them. Although the whole "Miis getting shoved down our throats" thing
They've been in 4 pictures since E3. Four. That's it.
In other news, I'd like some info on some current characters that weren't playable at the demo. Peach, Charizard, Diddy, Ike... Sakurai you do remember these guys, right?
Wait, did it? I have never played Find Mii so I wouldn't know that, and if that's the case, that's fine. I was just thinking "well, only one person can be the red Mega Man, and that's actually fundamentally unfair in a way no smash stage has ever been before if the stage rewards that". It does seem oddly worded in the comment to mean that though; it says he grants you powers based on your color as though your color is a pre-existing thing. Are you suggesting he arbitrarily grants you colors and then power-ups based on those? The more hazards/stage gimmicks get revealed, the more it seems like Final Destination mode was a necessary evil to compensate.
I think you're misinterpreting it. Find Mii had him change your color, which I assume is the case here based on the "just like the original game" comment.
Makes sense from his standpoint. Your already sold on Pacman and Palutena, he has no need to build your hype. Obviously he's going to hype the less popular character so that people start to understand him and warm up to the idea of him.Dude, Sakurai. You revealed Pac-Man and Palutena too, yet you choose to drown us in pictures of Miis, characters people care the less about? Miis over Pac-Man? Seriously?
I think you should have run Sehnsucht's post through Google Sarcasm. Or maybe not since it probably doesn't work anyways.I think @CliffJumper tried to pretend to talk in French with it and as a native speaker, It's not accurate at all. I think French has a sense so...
Wow this wasn't obvious if it was.I think you should have run Sehnsucht's post through Google Sarcasm. Or maybe not since it probably doesn't work anyways.
That's how I feel bout Palutena needing more info. She's the only other character besides those... Miis... that have 12 unique specials rather than alternative versions of existing moves, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to know which ones are for which specials, which ones are her original ones, and you get the idea. Add that with wanting her other costumes being shown or even talk about her Final Smash.Yeah, gotta admit, a bit tired of the Miis. I like the customizable character aspect. It's cool. But so much work has gone into them it's just slightly baffling. To make matters worse, Sakurai seems intent to show us just how much effort was out into them by constantly showing them in POTDs.
Not trying to be greedy. I want more Pac-Man info, but I know there are several characters out there that could be focused on as well. But all these Mii updates. Just... tired of it, honestly.
Some people prefer to be more subtle with their words. Subtly, unfortunately, is a dying art.Wow this wasn't obvious if it was.
The exists for a reasons (and the Kappa).
In the words of D1 I think it is....Ignoring the salt, this update... I'm not happy about.
The stage is just too gimmicky. (>_>)
Why did you said the same thing about 75m?Oh look, a fun stage I can play on with my friends.
Because my life isn't a tournament 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It's fun knowing I can have fun with the whole game. Wee!
Ah, I'm just poking fun.Why did you said the same thing about 75m?
Sounds like there was rude debates.
