We've seen these enemies before.

Poppant appeared on the enemy showcase on the Smash Direct. The beetle was seen on the E3 demo.

In other words, these enemies' existence in the game was already known. Therefore, it's filler.

Ice Climbers; it's winter in the Southern Hemisphere!

I would like to see Ice Climbers or Lucas next, but Wario is probably the most likely. Not that I don't want to see Wario, just that I'd rather see the Climbers (which would make the Sneaky Spirit hint toward Chorus Kids more likely) and Lucas. (because everyone thinks he's out.)

I could've commented on these pics when they came out but I was tired and there's really nothing to say. People are saying that we already knew about these enemies. I didn't but not that I care to, it's just the enemy that dropped junk and food and now probably drops powerups and a beetle from Pikmin (whoo hoo to more Pikmin rep I guess?)

With the 3DS version being released relatively soon in Japan I can imagine we'll be getting more 3DS pictures. If that is the case I hope we get more stage confirmations than Smash Run enemies. Pretty sure it has been awhile since we last had a new 3DS stage (could be wrong on that) and for the competitive community it'd be nice if there were more potential legal stages shown.

That'd be way too straightforward for Sakurai. We'll get some of Palutena's moves this week, maybe another assist trophy that we saw in the demo (Shadow, tingle, ect) but not one of the ones we don't have pics of (chunky kong).

Maybe some details on coin mode, or another character's move customization. (fox perhaps, or kirby, or pit)

Then Friday - Bam! Game delayed till next year

Poppant sucks. Sakurai is a genius, but there was not one SSE original enemy that I liked, or that I ever want to see again. Not even any of the original bosses.

Master Hand, Crazy Hand and Sandbag are the only Smash Characters for me.

What about that cute yak thing?

Boss Battle Mode is surely coming back right? Sure the bosses are weaker and more gimmicky but we've still got some good ones.

Maybe there will be a difference between stage bosses and "actual" bosses with much more power and moves.

Considering he chickened out of the polar bear pic, I don't see this happening. Speaking of which, did anyone even see the polar bear at E3? It's obvious that they're hiding some content but is it really necessary to continue hiding something that was shown nearly 3 months ago?

from the videos i've seen of smash run at E3 i have no seen it even though IGN for some reason put in there thumbnail but it never appeared in it.

If I were to guess they probably don't want to officially talk about it with characters pending but are willing to release in press release material. What's the different, probably other then the number of people paying attention not much. Sakurai seems to be very strange about what he'll talk about and what he won't even if he's already made some quite apparant in other discussions, but he he didn't speak about it directly, he doesn't seem to acknowledge it as if to say, Ice Climbers? Polar Bears? I never said anything about that. Same thing with Samurai Goroh returning as an Assist and the like.

Am I the only one who wants most of the Smash Run enemies to be secret until the game comes out? They're the most exciting thing about Smash Run to me, and I'd much rather encounter a Pikmin enemy or a Pokemon instead of hearing about them online.

They're sometimes good deconfirm fodder, and they let people know that even if a given character won't be in the game, that character (or the series it was from) was at least acknowledged.

Bigger (and more importantly, more interesting) information. New stages, new characters... even new items and AT's.

Poppant is kinda boring and I swear I've seen him in the demo before, anyway.

Tabuu could appear in a certain mode only. Like a Boss mode on Normal-to-Intense difficulty.
I'm also hoping that people can play All-Star / Classic /Adventure mode with another player. Could it happen? Maybe online with friends too?

You're gonna have a hard time until September if you're going to be dissatisfied with anyone that isn't Falco, Ganon or Captain Falcon, none of these have ever been shown pre-release so the chances are slim it'll happen this time.

Also, when Sakurai posts those pictures, do you think he's using the in-game function to post those? Maybe that's how he's able to have 2 pics uploaded at once?

I'm imagining all those upskirt pictures of Peach amd Zelda... Won't work for Rosalina though.

Well, Poppant is nothing new, but I don't remember seeing the Glint Beetle before. It'll be interesting to see exactly what bonuses it drops when killed.

I wouldn't be surprised if this week carries over from June. We started with filler, so I'm not getting too hopeful.
