I wouldn't be surprised if the ins do hint at newcomers/vets. Last time we got the metroid and Pikachu, and ended up getting a revamped ZSS and Greninja. So maybe Mewtwo + a new FE rep isn't too farfetched. Not that I'd put much weight into something like that.

Speaking of which, anyone wonder if Sakurai would reveal two Pokemon in a row? (As in, Mewtwo right after Greninja)

Also, my friend argues if Mewtwo isn't shown at e3, he's not in the game because "It's the best time to show him, now or never". I argue against that statement, what do you think?

Well, he said SOME kind of appearance, implying that they might not all be Pokeball Pokemon, so I can see why people are wondering about Zoroark.

Don't get any hopes up for Zoroark being playable, though.

And I think Meloetta appeared in a pic out of that large batch of screenshots shortly after the direct.

Mewtwo didn't appear in the Greninja trailer proper, but like Meloetta, Mewtwo could still make it in the final product.

Plus, they're both genderless in canon (apparently), so this is all clear Mewtwo foreshadowing.

Then again, didn't Meloetta appear in the Pokeball showcase in the actual Direct?

A fun Pokeball(well, apparently, unless Sakurai somehow throws a curve ball and Meloetta is summoned some other way. I'm blatantly doubting it) Pokemon with a sweet attack? Very nice update. Also noting that everything in the video is blatantly confirmed(which it was already? I guess he's saying none of them were removed. Although it's also possible some of those are pure Trophies too. I'm not sure if was even needed.) as in till the end of the game for Pokemon?

For people who say Meloetta was in the Direct. Yes it was, but it wasn't during the Greninja reveal. I'm guessing the Pokemon shown are all either Poké Ball assists or possibly stage hazard. Playables in the video are Pikachu, Charizard, Greninja, and Lucario.

What's weird is that I checked back on the trailer, Meloetta is actually very clearly in the trailer if only for a brief time.

She's right at the end of the Pokéball lineup inbetween Keldeo and Deoxys.

Or perhaps it was just a reconfirmation of what we already knew? That is entirely possible. It does, to an extent, insinuate that Pokemon that we already thought were likely are likely. But other than that, I do not believe that there is a "hidden-meaning."
