Well the one on the day is gonna be a fake out pic anyways so it won't really count.

For me, and most other people who live in the USA, the pic would be arriving from about 11:20 pm Monday night through 2:20 am Tuesday.

It would just kind of suck to not have our traditional PotD fix before going to sleep.

There's always a potd on direct days they never really show anything so I expect something like that.

Yeah, there's a good 8 and a half hour break between the picture being posted and the direct. I'd say we'll get a pic reminding us to watch E3.

This stage looks beautiful, simple, and I know I'll frequent it! I wonder why they wouldn't reveal it in an awakening character's trailer though? Maybe they wanna reveal it sooner to avoid confusion or...? Curious. Oh well! Next week is ganna be real neat. Maybe the site will get a big update on tuesday or wednesday where we can actually click on stages and items and get detailed lists or something!

It always had. Maybe tomorrow will be something new, Tuesday will be the usual filler with a "Hey guys remember to watch E3!" caption.

I'm thinking we'll still get pics daily and the website will be updated regularly with any new info (characters) we get at E3. After the Direct everything was updated quite fast and the daily pics kept on coming. It's good for anyone who doesn't follow E3, but follows the website/Miiverse.

Both. I don't expect more than the starting roster (which we probably already know), some game modes/stages/items, etc. The bombshells will likely be gameplay videos/mechanics discovered by players, and if we're lucky, the cinematic intro.

On the daily pic front I'm sure the coming week(s) will be a drag, just like after the Direct. It's fine though, when we're hit by such information bombs it's only natural that there'll be some stalling. I just hope we can get at least something new in the two updates leading up to E3, anything really, even if it's just something like Kamek's doing his stuff on the stage or w/e.

If they want to steal thunder from the other conferences they'll reveal Captain Falcon with a new design from a game we don't know about yet, and have him running away from Ridley's shadow on the Pyrosphere stage in one of the website screens. If they did that the speculation would run wild... though Nintendo would be a bit dickish to pull that off...

Nintendo really just needs to buy out a powerful exclusive to win E3 honestly.
Something in the line of Shenmue 3, Portal 3, or even the next Street Fighter.
None of that is going to happen anyway.

-Monstro is too big for Smash. Scaling him down would ruin his character. Ad he's third-party, so there's that.

I agree in general with this. I hope we also get a veteran on Monday, but...I'm not getting my hopes up.

Even though we'll see a character select screen at the tournament Tuesday, I wouldn't mind if Monday or Tuesday had a picture of the character select screen from the demo/tournament build with a caption saying to check out the upcoming events.

Of course, my preferred update for tomorrow would be stage/item information since it's a nice way to get a small amount of new info...which will be overshadowed immediately by E3 reveals.
