Actually, let's go a bit further.
The Spring Breeze game mode of Kirby Super Star (where King Dedede and his ring is found) is actually a remake of the original Kirby Dream Land GB game.

I'm just waiting for alt. colors to show up in daily pics. I mean it seems like a good enough idea. "Pic of the day. One of Megaman's alternate colors. This is the color Megaman takes when using the famous metal blade weapon. But in Smash, Megaman can use the metal blade no matter what color he is." Something like that. I'd be happy with that, and it's good padding. I don't think I remember ever seeing any alt. colors at all on the Brawl dojo though.
