I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. I just feel as though they used his different design just to use it. I mean, she still has a chance, but her chances haven't improved per se.

This. But you know how reveals work, look at what happened to Mewtwo after Lucario's confirmation, and then Greninja. But whatever, that will just make Chrom a surprise to them as well.

Ike looks great, but I think Sakurai forgot to click the update button for Ness. I'll let it slide this time, since Porky and Jeff are both going to be announced newcomers at E3.

Honestly, maybe people just think Chrom would be an Ike clone or replace him if Ike wasn't in the game, instead of, y'know, Chrom getting a unique moveset.

I think Chrom is still very likely to be apart of the game. He is the protag of the best selling fire emblem, I would be shocked if he isn't in.

Well ike be damned. Congrats Ike fans, he looks excellent, I was so hoping for his RD design, and now that's a reality. Although with this, now the weight on snakes shoulders gets even heavier *sigh*

The rugged manliness that permeates Ike is exceedingly strong.
Hopefully, the Radiant Hero's buffs will extend to much more than his muscles - I truly desire worthwhile improvements to his game-play style. We shall see in the upcoming week.

I don't like Chrom (for Smash) because he doesn't contrast well with the other 2 FE characters we have and his movepool is boring/weak. I am happy to see he didn't replace Ike. He may still be in but his chances just took a nice blow and I'm also happy about that.

Chrom was/is likely, but to suggest there's no implications based on Ike's inclusion is questionable. People were assuming Chrom's inevitable inclusion made Ike's exclusion a fact.
I'm just saying, trash conventional wisdom.

Maybe, maybe not. No one will expect Wario, so that would be an ideal time to reveal him, but we just got a reveal. So IDK.
I actually think this raises his chances. I thought PotD reveals were long gone but here we are with a new one, maybe we'll get back on track with another reveal next week just in time for E3.
