Pokemon Battle Trozei comes out in EU today. An European release hasn't been acknowledged yet and maybe there's a first for everything :troll:

seriously though I'm more up for Yoshi tomorrow.

It wouldn't be the first time Sakurai ignores a Western release, nor would it be the first time he acknowledges it. No one knows what'll happen except the man himself, and unfortunately, he's a massive troll.

The thing is though it's an NA release date, of which only one has been done (and that was more under special circumstances due to the Direct). While the Japanese one is unknown and it'd be a good time, that doesn't mean that suddenly the NA one is absolutely going to have Yoshi, particularly since Sakurai has shown he's willing to wait with examples such as Zelda.

We got Olimar the day before because Friday was the closest day to release.

Thursday was coincidentally the day that releases happened. Plus you kinda destroyed your point. Prior to the past few reveals. Meaning Thursday has little to no significance anymore.

Ah, but the timing works perfectly. It's that time of the month. No other releases around. And he's already revealed a character for a NA/Europe release already.

I know it is, but everyone knows the hammer from Smash, especially if you're familiar with all the Hammer remixes on Nico Nico Douga.

Well to be honest, I feel like Yoshi's New Island needs all the promotion it can get haha, especially in the west where the Yoshi-fanbase may not be as huge. So revealing Yoshi on the games US release works for me.

I have the feeling that Sakurai will not reveal Yoshi tomorrow and instead he will reveal a random veteran or nothing at all.

The thing is though it's not unlike Sakurai to have a character drought, and he has revealed characters at random (though he could always use Mario Party next week for Yoshi if he wanted). Plus, as I mentioned before, Diddy is the exception and it can be argued that it's only because the Direct threw everything off. So while it can happen, it's not necessarily a certainty we'll get the character, particularly since Sakurai has thrown us for loops like this when we least expect it.
