This is one gorgeous stage! Also kinda wondering what it'll look like in it's FD-form.

But this is by far the prettiest wii u stage by far

Can't wait to play it the 49 characters and possibly the dlc/patch release/transfer characters.

Yea i hate to say it but its toast

Theres no orbitial gate on the list.
There is Great Fox listed here. You fight on the Great Fox, the leaker may have just seen the thumbnail of it on the SSS. They need to announce a stage that has no relation to this list in anyway, shape or form. Only then can the leak be debunked.

I'd still say that the Mario Galaxy stage is more beautiful. But that's my bias speaking. :p

Let's hope for anything not a menu.

"Pic of the day. This assist trophy is Sheriff. Sheriff was an arcade game released in 1979. In this game, the players aim by choosing one of eight directions to shoot using a second joystick separate from the one that controls movement. It was quite a revolutionary game for its time. For shooting games overseas, it's common to see games that utilize the left stick to move around and the right to determine the direction to shoot, so we can say the origin of modern shooting games was this game--which is pretty remarkable."

With less than 24 hours remaining (at the time of this post) is nice to see this week had a lot of nice stuff to show, stage and team Vs. info and HD pics, Im sure Sakurai will wrap up the week with a 3DS pic and the release announcement... or maybe #WarioWriday can happen?

The Hype is returning...

Inb4 Friday's pic is a menu

He was yellow in the original arcade game:

He was only ever white in his melee trophy.

Some more fun facts about Sheriff:
-He is the oldest Nintendo "character", born in 1979, beating out Game & Watch by a year.
-Sheriff was the first arcade game ever released by Nintendo. Color TV Game 15 barely edges it out as the oldest series represented in Smash.
-Sheriff was also the first game Miyamoto worked on, although he only did the art and was not involved with the design.
-He's made a few appearances in Warioware, but for the most part is a forgotten relic of Nintendo's early history.

I think Sheriff's massive importance to Nintendo history definitely makes him deserving of a roster slot in a future game, but for now, it's nice to see him get to be the second best thing.

Holy Crahsboards, Batma- oh okay so I wasn't the only one? Cool. Nice Pic too. Was Sakurai implying that Sheriff is the grandfather of all shooters?

A new screenshot is good, but there is some bad news to share as well.

You won't be able to post your own screenshots in the new 3DS community, as it appears that Miiverse access will be disabled while you're playing the game. This isn't the first time that a community doesn't allow screenshot postings, as the Pokemon X/Y community doesn't allow screenshots either.

Surely there's some kind of option in your photo gallery that lets you upload stuff to Miiverse, right?

I'm pretty sure this is old news, and I think I remember hearing that Miiverse will be available on the "New" 3DS.
And besides, you can still take screenshots like you could in Brawl, so it's not like it's that big of a deal.

This does mean though, that your screenshot posting options will be restricted, unlike with most other 3DS and Wii U games. And even then, you still can't share them at Miiverse.

I think we may be done with the 3DS POTD :O
Dude you might be right i mean the game pops out worldwide on saturday so

ALL ALBOARD THE HYPE TRAIN IS RESURRECTING.

And once again still no ridley

How much longer do wii have to wait until we know if hes a temporary wii u exclusive playable or dlc/patch release character. (The transfer thing for the wii u exclusive.)

I mean im starting to get suspicious on ridleys fate again maybe they're are temporary wii uexclusive characters then a patch release so the 3ds version gets them.

The Star Fox stage this week...it looks amazing! I really can't wait to play on it.

I liked the history lesson as well from today.
